Dear Friends, Families and Supporters,
Thank you for taking time to support our 5th annual Dare to Play Football and Dare to Cheer camps! We are grateful to Valor Christian High School for continuing to host our end-of-camp scrimmage game.
We are also grateful to have former All Pro wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl champion Ed McCaffrey as our cherished partner. Ed has supported our efforts both on the field and off thank you, Ed!
A huge shout-out to Teresa and Katie and the rest of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders for making our Dare to Cheer Camp the highlight of the year for our self-advocates and families.
The purpose of the Dare to programs is to create understanding, respect and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome while giving them the opportunity to enjoy the same sports and activities as their peers.
Our campers have worked hard and are thrilled to have fans in the stands. So cheer loud, and if you would like their autographs, Im sure they would be happy to accommodate you!
Thanks again for believing in our work and our brilliant and beautiful athletes who happen to have Down syndrome.
Gratefully,
Michelle Sie Whitten Executive Director
