Fellow Leathernecks,

Western Illinois University Athletics continues to succeed on the playing fields and in the classroom. It is our goal to support academic and athletic excellence for all student-athletes and teams, and to do so while remaining fiscally responsible.

Our student-athletes continue to rise to the challenge by going above and beyond in their academic and athletic duties as Leathernecks. In addition to a growing number of Academic All-Americans and Academic All-Conference honorees, we have also earned conference and individual championships, while continuing to prepare our student-athletes for life after graduation.

Although our student-athletes deserve much praise for these accomplishments, our donors should also be recognized for the support they provide to each of our athletic programs. Athletics donors directly influence the overall experience of our student-athletes through Leatherneck Club gifts and scholarship support.

I ask that you make the decision to support our student-athletes and their personal commitment. Join the Leatherneck Club. Support a scholarship or facility project. Make a difference and help us provide the resources necessary to optimize the educational and athletic experience for our student-athletes.

An extraordinary amount of individuals personally know the difference scholarships can make. Scholarship endowments can be established with a single gift of cash, securities or other property, or may be funded with a series of gifts made over time. They can also be funded through a bequest or other deferred gifts, or through

a combination of lifetime and deferred gifts.
