2014 Curriculum Management Milestone
Plan Review Plan as of March 2014KS IUG - April 3, 2014
Assumptions• Across KS, Milestones (content & timing) are
specific to each product stream.– Except ENR-CO & ENR-CR, which share
milestone timing• Milestone plans will evolve as needs &
circumstances warrant change.– This plan reflects what we know now.
• Milestone completion is based on goals and priorities, not time.
• Since all product streams now share the same “trunk” codebase, we all take Rice upgrades at the same time.
• Attention to cross-product stream impact is important.

Milestones
• Certainty arises from knowledge about work being planned & knowledge about how the team works.
• New teams, new product streams• Analysis & design stronger for near-term work; less
so for future work• Mitigation: Just like we did last year, continue to
update estimates each milestone
