Following the devastation of World War II, millions of people found themselves stateless and seeking countries of refuge. Australia accepted hundreds and thousands of people, with many staying at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp. Today Block 19, Bonegilla is a reminder of the impact of conflict and how war effects the lives of ordinary people everywhere. Held in conjunction with the Albury Wodonga World Peace Flame committee, a commemorative ceremony at 2pm will be followed by afternoon tea (please bring a plate to share).

New events this year will include Hippie Power caberet show and luncheon, concert with James Blundell, fishing charters, ukulele workshop, annual spring golf tournament, high tea at Gypsy Gardens and Living Well - Ageing Even Better seminar. There will also be favourites including mystery bus tours, a month-long seniors’ shopping bonanza, open days, performances and come and try activities.
