Most students complete the degree in three years, taking classes every other weekend. Some complete the degree in two years by taking classes every weekend.
Dialing up digital: A team of our MBA students recently completed an Integrated Management Project for AT&T Wireless, delivering a plan to transition from direct mail to digital marketing.

We select applicants whose demonstrated leadership, intellectual capacity, global perspective, academic background and profes-sional experience have prepared them to meet the rigors of our MBA program and an impactful career. Our evaluation considers work experience, academic record, GMAT or GRE performance, personal essays and recommendations.
Our students come from diverse professional, academic and personal backgrounds. Both entry-level and mid-career applicants are welcome.
No particular area of undergraduate study is required. Although there are no prerequisites, we suggest coursework in accounting, calculus, economics and statistics.

The university offers a competitive grant program to help students with their MBA program expenses. In addition, both federal and private student loans are available to assist you.

Your course fees are set at the time of your enrollment and remain fixed for your MBA studies. For Bay Area MBA students who enrolled in fall 2013, the fees were $99,360 for the degree, paid at the rate of $1,380 per unit.
These fees include course fees, textpaks, textbooks and access to all UC libraries. Fees for fall 2014 will be set in late spring.
The 2013–2014 Student Health Insurance Plan fee is $3,104 per year. This fee is waived for students who document comparable coverage.
