March 2014 Dear friends and family, Greetings from Romania! I trust that you are doing well. I wanted to get a newsletter out to update you on what has been happening here the past few months and also to let you know what will be happening in the near future. Let me first tell you about our Christmas activities. This year we were again busy with practices, programs, and packs. The orphans from the House of Hope, children from the local church, teens from the youth group, gypsy kids from a neighboring village, and several poor families from other villages all received something special for Christmas. Because of your generosity we were able to give out health and beauty aid items, toys, candy, chocolate, food, and many other items in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much to all who gave to make this possible! Your donations were a blessing. Each gift was received with joy and thankfulness and for many, it was the only thing they received this Christmas. Over the past few years, the children from the House of Hope have eagerly helped to make these packs. Because all of the orphans came from extreme poverty, they know how much these gifts mean to others, and they are thrilled to be part of helping people in need. When it was time to deliver the packs, a few of the girls from the orphanage came along to help. As we were handing out packs, the girls were reminded of how God has been faithful in their lives to bring them to a place where they are loved and cared for and how blessed they are to be living in a home where they have plenty of food, water, heat, electricity, and indoor plumbing. I want to say a special thank you to Lebanon God’s Missionary Church for their generous donation again this year. This church family gave sacrificially so we could make Christmas extra special for so many. God bless you for your giving! [email protected] News of Sally Sebo, Missionary in Romania with H.I.M P.O. Dear friends and family,

Greetings from Romania!

Because of your generosity we were able to give out health and beauty aid items, toys, candy, chocolate, food, and many other items

in the name of Jesus.

I want to say a special thank you to Lebanon Gods Missionary Church for their generous donation again

this year. This church family gave sacrificially so we could make Christmas extra special for so many. God bless you for your giving!

  • This year the children again did a wonderful job on the Christmas play. The church was full of visitors who came to see the special program about the true meaning of Christmas. Our prayer is that God would use all that was said and done for His honor and glory.

The young people were also involved in the

Christmas festivities. We participated in a special night of singing at a neigh-boring church, sang at our church, and went out carol-ing to the shut-ins in the village. It was a wonderful celebra-tion of the birth of

    our Savior.

This Christmas, Angela Jacobs was here visiting for a few weeks. The children and youth were thrilled to see her again. (She has been here be-

fore on T.L.C. teams.) Angela was so thoughtful and brought presents to give out, but there was one extra special gift that will be a blessing for years to come. Angela brought Marius his own trumpet. Marius is

just learning to play and he was thrilled with his gift. Thank you Angela for your kindness, and God bless you!

As some of you may have heard, right after Christmas I had an unexpected accident. I was rushing up the out-

side stairs of the church when my right foot slipped. As the rest of me continued to move forward, my foot remained stuck behind the lower step. The result was an unstable fracture of my 5th metatarsal which required surgery. Thank the Lord that after many weeks of limited mobility and minimal activity, my foot seems to be healing well. I can now get around without the use of a wheelchair or crutches. Thank you all for your prayers, encouraging notes, and messages. It

wasnt always easy not being able to do much for myself, but God has blessed me with so many people who love me and care for me and who helped me during this challenging time. I know that God had a purpose for all that happened, and I have just trusted Him and His plan in regards to this small bump in the road. This summer, several teams will be visiting to be involved in ministry here in Talpos. Two very important events that we will be having are youth camp and Vacation Bible School. I am asking you to please pray for each team member and for the children and youth that they will be ministering to. We know that God is able to speak to the hearts of the children and youth through these special activities.

I would like you to specifically pray for youth camp. Many of our young people are at a very important crossroad in their lives, and we are trusting and believing that they will choose the road to Salvation during this years camp. We are expecting a mighty moving of Gods presence during our time together. We have already felt the attack of the enemy on this upcoming event, so we need Gods people to band together and pray that He will take control of each and every situation. However, we are also rejoicing in the midst of these battles knowing that means there will be great victories ahead, but we need you to help us pray. Thank you in advance for taking these souls before the throne of God. He is able to do exceeding abun-dantly above all that we ask or think. To Him be all the glory! God bless you!
