Graduation Requirements

• You must pass both the English Language Arts and Mathematics sections of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)

• CAHSEE Upcoming Dates: Oct. 7 & 8, 2014; Feb. 3 & 4, 2015; May 12 & 13, 2015

• You must have completed and documented 40 hours of community service. Many more hours needed for scholarship opportunities.

Credit Recovery Options

• On-line Credit Recovery -- Only meets high school graduation requirements; not a-g college entrance requirements (except math in 2012-13)

• SRJC – Concurrent enrollment

• BYU -- See your counselor; approximately $140 per semester class

UC College Requirements a-g Requirements (11 met by the end 11th grade summer; 15 by end of 12th grade with a 3.00 GPA)

What Happens if I Don’tMeet EAP Standards?

• ELP & EMP Tests given throughout state to help students get qualified (sign ups are online). Must register and take by deadline.

• Early Start Programs are being offered throughout colleges and universities.

• Each college or university will have their own process for students to meet the requirement.
