Safe Community Spaces for LGBTQ Youth provides funding for community-based programming and safe spaces specifically for LGBTQ youth in Oakland to support the formation of positive identities, foster peer connections, help youth to develop self-sufficiency skills and to work towards achievement of personal goals, and provide opportunities for youth to give voice and leadership in making a more inclusive community and city.
