with our »Mobility made simple!« brand slogan, as an innovative manufacturer of wheelchairs, handbikes,

traction and steering attachments we promise you the greatest flexibility and quality of life. We are con-

stantly working to provide maximum customisation for our customers from modifications via development

to manufacturing.

For example, we have added more comfort to the trusted NJ1 compact bike with electric support.

Completely in line with our »Made in Germany« philosophy, it has been possible to equip the NJ1 com-

pact bike with the powerful »neodrives« drive system from the company Alber (Albstadt, Germany).

Take a look at our extended drive overview on pages 32 and 33. The Raptor 4all is another innovation.

This racing bike offers a high level of flexibility for racers as both the bottom bracket and seating

positions are adaptable.

But we don‘t want to give away too much in advance. We are delighted to be able to present our

The spIkE adaptive bike is mainly used by children

and teenagers but also by adults who like a simple

and compact bike.

Its weight of 7.3 kg makes it a particularly light

adaptive bike. Due to the wide selection of hub

gears, optimum adaptation is possible for any user.

The length adjustability of the bottom bracket support

and the angle, height and length adjustability of

the removable frame adapter (optional) allow for

continuous easy adaptation to the user's requirements

and possibilities.

since the spIkE is very compact and simple, it has a

very small turning radius and does not require a lot of

space, which makes it ideal for narrow alleys or public

transport, for example. The spIkE is therefore perfect

for your journey to work or school and for city tours.

tour, the NJ1 adaptive bike allows for easy and

comfortable travelling at all times with your own

wheelchair.

The NJ1 adaptive bike is light and stable and has

excellent handling characteristics. Top-quality

gear and brake components from the bicycle

industry ensure precise switching of gears and

braking. The handbike equipment is variable,

from touring bike to sports bike.

The NJ1 adaptive bike is also available with

electric support. During pedalling you can reach

support levels of up to 300%. Without pedalling

you can travel up to 6 km/h (3.75 mph). Additional

The FREAk compact bike consists of a drive

pact bike, the packing dimensions from 104 cm x

43 cm x 39 cm are unique among recumbent bikes.

There is a choice of BionX and neodrives drive

systems for electric support. There is an overview

of the drive systems on pages 32 and 33. A speed

of up to 6 km/h (3.7 mph) can be reached via the

thumb accelerator. When pedalling, the drive assists

with the set support level at a speed of up to

24.9 km/h.

The compact bike is available with a back-pedal

brake and/or chin switch which makes opera-

tion by tetraplegics particularly easy. There is also

the option of a crank freewheel at the back. For

manoeuvring, the pedals can be removed to facili-

tate pushing the bike backwards.

All of the dimensions and equipment of this high-

end sporting device are modified individually to its

user. Each frame is unique, entirely tailored to the

user's requirements and needs. The handbike for

professional racers!

For transportation, the complete drive unit, colli-

sion guard and back wheels can be removed via a

quick lock.

The integration of the backrest in the frame

leads to further optimisation of the weight. An

adjustable backrest is also available as an option

of course. Top-quality gear and brake components

from the bicycle industry ensure precise switching

of gears and braking.

Apart from that, the exchangeable axle tube

provides the user with a lot of flexibility. In just a

few steps the RApToR 4you can be converted to

a time trial bike with a minimal track width and

wheels behind the body.

The RApToR 4you can also be equipped with a

seat and back system based on a taken cast. This

provides for a stable and clearly defined lying

position whilst optimising the weight further.

Based on the ability to remove the drive unit, there is the option of defining the ideal position with

a RApToR 4all drive unit and adjustable bottom bracket bearing support in a practical test over

several days. The individual, fixed welded forks can then be produced using the ideal position set.

The FREEWAy makes your wheelchair an all-terrain

vehicle. It just takes a few movements to attach

the amazingly light FREEWAy (from 2.7 kg) to the

wheelchair and you are off: on tracks, cobbles, snow

or sand – the FREEWAy makes movement easy!

The wheelchair is still pushed forward as usual

via the handrims, the caster wheels are slightly

above the ground. And everyone who has tried it

before can confirm: A 20'' wheel handles obstacles

significantly more easily than a 4'', 5'' or 6''

wheel. The FREEWAy thus provides an entirely new

freedom of movement!

Even on hilly routes the FREEWAy has tremendous

benefits. uphill it is an enormous relief for the

accompanying person pushing the wheelchair for

support, downhill the vehicle moves by itself.

The user steers and brakes using the FREEWAy.

Curves can easily be managed via the steering

system, and not as normally through braking and

pushing motions on the handrims, which always

lead to a loss of momentum.

The CRossWAy is the electric traction device

by pRo ACTIv. on extended tours with extra

baggage, the CRossWAy makes your journey

a comfortable one.

We put special emphasis on extremely easy

steering. The handle bar can be swung up to

ensure it's easy to get in.

The CRossWAy is available in a 15 km/h (9.3

mph) version and in a 6 km/h (3.7 mph) version

and reaches up to 40 km (25 mph).

The CRossWAy has a forward and reverse

gear. This allows for easy manoeuvring in tight

spaces and high flexibility. Thanks to its easy

coupling and handling and its optional extras, the

CRossWAy is ideal for tetraplegics.

The CRossWAy is available in a 15 km/h (9.3 mph)

version and in a 6 km/h (3.7 mph) version and

reaches up to 40 km (25 mph).

The 15 km/h (9.3 mph) version of the CRossWAy is

also available with MoT approval (Germany).

The motor does not need maintenance. Thanks to

lithium-manganese technology one battery last for

up to 45 km (28 miles) on average.

The symmetrical connection of an additional battery

can be added to double the distance. The batteries

can be removed for transportation thus reducing

the loading weight to around 14 kg.

The NJ1 e-assistant is a wheelchair traction

device with pure electric, electro-supported and

manual movement functions. It always permits

easy and independent forward motion with your

own wheelchair.

It is stable and has outstanding handling

characteristics. A speed of up to 6 km/h (3.7

mph) can be reached via the thumb accelerator.

To maintain or enhance your cardio function, you

can pedal at the same time.

This traction system is available with a back-pedal

brake and/or chin switch which makes operation

by tetraplegics particularly easy. There is also the

option of a crank freewheel at the back. The cranks

can be removed to manoeuvre back and forth, and

you can comfortably reverse using the handrims.

The NJ1 e-assistant can be equipped with various

pRo ACTIv uses BionX and neodrives drive systems:

The BionX motors offer four support levels 35%,

75%, 150% and 300% and four recuperation

levels (battery refill). The support levels enhance

the user‘s pedalling power to go faster at the

same pedalling effort or to have more comfort at

the same speed.

Exclusively from pRo ACTIv:

The neodrives drive system »Made in Germany«

offers five support levels (60%, 120%, 180%,

240% and 300%) and two recuperation levels,

a high torque of up to 40 Nm as well as an enor-

mous range of up to 60 km with a rechargeable

battery. The downhill assistant on the neodrives

drive systems assures safety travelling downhill

and a high level of comfort as no permanent

re-adjustment of the recuperation level is required.

The battery is charged »automatically« without

the user having to remember to activate the recu-

peration mode. Recuperation mode can increase

the range by up to 10 per cent. This also takes the

pressure off the brake on hills.
