Christa Racine has led the Drew University women’s soccer program since 1994.

The program’s all-time leader in wins, Racine has been named the Coach of the Year three times, most recently in 2005, and in 1994 was named the DIII Coach of the Year by the CSANJ. She has led her teams to 14 con-ference playoff appearances, seven ECAC Tournament appearances and an NCAA Tournament berth in 1997.

The 2010 Rangers put together one of the best sea-sons in school history after 15 wins and the first ever ECAC Tournament Championship. Racine had seven of her players listed on the Landmark All-Conference Team, establishing a new program mark.

A native of Morris County, Racine was an All-American at local high school Morris Catholic prior to attending Rutgers University. She led the Scarlet Knights to a four-year record of 50-24-7, with three consecutive ECAC Championships from 1990-1992. Her 39 career goals are tied for the highest total in school history and she holds the record for most assists in a game with four. Racine was most recently honored by the Newark Star Ledger as a member of New Jersey’s “All-Century” Team.

Following her outstanding collegiate career, the Regional All-American played in the Olympic Festival, starring for the gold medal winning East Team in 1994. A USSF “A” license coach, Racine teaches coaching certification courses for the state of New Jersey. In addition to her duties as women’s soccer coach, Racine serves as Drew’s assistant director of athletics.

Miranowic enters the second season at her alma mater as the Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant.

The 2010 Drew graduate played three years under Racine and started 56 consecutive games for the Rangers.

Her senior year she was a First Team All-Landmark selection as a defender and was one of four fall athletes named to the Landmark All-Academic team. She was also a two year-member of the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Schuckers will begin her first collegiate coaching endeavor on Head Coach Christa Racine’s staff in 2013. The 2012 gradu-ate of Montclair State University, was a four-year member for the Red Hawk soccer team.

She played in 47 games on the MSU defense and was a member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Team. She was awarded the Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Award and the Outstanding Co-op Student Award by MSU her senior year.A native of Lincoln Park, N.J., Schuckers played soccer for nearby Morris Catholic High School. For the past three seasons she has gone back to her alma mater, as-sisting the women’s basketball team who have claimed a pair of county titles and a state sectional title in 2012.Schuckers graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is back at MSU as a graduate assistant, and pursuing her Master’s of Arts in Teaching. She currently resides in Wayne, N.J.

Head Coach Christa Racine fielded a young squad that included a class of eight newcomers in 2012. Returning for their final season in Madison was a group of six seniors, including starters, Kim Jaikissoon, Courtney Carnevale and Michelle Malone. The influx of new talent meshed with veteran leadership, produced a record of 10-8-3 in 2012. A highlight of the year was freshman Emma Campbell who had one of the best years by any freshman in school history. She was became the first player ever to be named Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year in the same season. She led the league with 16 goals, the fourth most ever by a Drew women’s soccer player. The Rangers landed five players on the All-Conference team. Junior Katie O’Keefe earned First Team honors for the second-straight season while Carnevale, Jaikissoon and Kiana Lundy were listed on the Second Team. Campbell, who was a First Team selection, went on to earn All-Region honors. For the third-straight season, the Rangers began the year at the Cyclone Classic hosted by Centenary Col-lege. After suffering a defeat against St. John Fisher in the opening round, the Rangers captured their first win of the season with a 4-2 win over the hosts. Returning home for the Annual Fall Festival the Rangers would once again split a two-day tournament. The Rangers won their opening round game over Rutgers-Camden, 2-0 but fell to Vassar College, 2-1 in the cham-pionship game. The Rangers would take their lumps for the remainder of the September, recording only one win in five games. In that stretch, the Rangers tied conference opponent Susquehanna 3-3 and were shut out by Moravian, 2-0.Aiming for the third playoff appearance in four seasons, the Rangers went on a run in October, posting a 6-2-1 record. With conference wins over Juniata, Catholic and Goucher, the Rangers qualified for the Landmark Conference postseason as the number three seed. Like Hurricane Irene they year before, Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the playoff scheduling. The conference tournament was transformed into a two-day affair at top-seeded Scranton. The Rangers played to a 0-0 tie with Moravian after two overtimes forcing penalty kicks. Moravian prevailed, advancing to the championship game by outscoring the Rangers, 4-3.The season would not be over as the Rangers had a good enough record to qualify for the ECAC Tournament. The 2010 ECAC Champions, won their first game over William Paterson, 2-0 but the season would come to a close in the tournament semifinals against Richard Stockton.

Casey SchuckersAnte RogicThe 2013 Montclair St. graduate will embark on his first collegiate coaching endeavor after a stellar four-year playing career. Rogic spent his first year at Division I Stony Brook where he started 14 games in net for the Sea Wolves. He went on to earn a

spot on the America East All-Rookie Team after producing five shutouts his first year on campus. In Stony Brook’s run to the America East Championship, he was named the tourna-ment’s Most Outstanding Player. In 2010, Rogic transferred to Montclair State where he became one of the most decorated goalkeepers in Red Hawk history. He ranks second all-time in shutouts, wins and goals against average (.083). He served as the team’s captain his junior and senior seasons. The Red Hawks were in the NCAA Tournament all three years he was there, including a Final Four appearance in 2011. He was a two-time All-New Jersey Athletic Conference selection and won the John A. Greco Male Sophomore Athlete of the Year at Montclair State. The Boonton, N.J. native earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He is cur-rently pursuing his Master’s at Rutgers Univer-sity in Turf Management. Rogic graduated from nearby Morris Catholic High School. His sister, Emily, also served as an assistant to Racine.
