Dear Iowa Games Mud Run Participant,

Welcome to the 2013 Iowa Games Mud Run presented by the University of Iowa. We are very excited to have you involved in the good ol’ muddy fun run. This event is going to be a great time with a unique course, music and a photo booth.

This race would not be possible without the support of Des Moines Park and Recreation and the Iowa Cubs turf management. We would like to thank our medical volunteers from UnityPoint Health, as well as our event volunteers from the central Iowa area. Have a great race and we hope to see you at a future Iowa Games event.

See you at the Mucky Mud Pit!

Leave your jewelry at home. Bring a trash bag, dry clothes and a towel. Make-shift shower/rinse stations available. Help other runners through the mud or obstacles.

Showers & Changing Tents

Shower “rinse stations” will be near the finish line. There are 50 rinse stations. These are intended to get the majority of the mud off, but not intended to get you completely clean. We encourage you to bring extra ‘dry’ clothes to change into.
