Inaugural eventThe first annual Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care was a rousing success. Celebrities, models, cancer care survivors and even some of BMC’s Cancer Care healthcare workers strutted the stage, displaying six different designers’ custom styles.

At BMC’s Cancer Care Center our experienced cancer specialists combine their extensive knowledge and expert skills to focus on each patient’s needs. This comprehensive, multi‐specialty team approach to diagnosis, treatment and follow‐up ensures that the most up‐to‐date options and recommendations are offered to patients in a timely and coordinated way.
Enrollment for Cancer Clinical Trials at BMC includes 9% of newly diagnosed cancer patients, 300% higher than the national average, with rates of enrollment for minority patients greatly exceeding national norms.
2012The sold‐out crowd at The State Room cheered all night long as they were inspired by cancer survivors having a great time on the catwalk. More than a few standing ovations were delivered by the audience that night. An event packed with laughs, cheers, and tears made this a night to remember.
At The Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care, everyone walked away with a smile on their face and a very fond memory of the night. The audience cheered, the models and celebrities offered their services for next year, and the cancer survivors confirmed they would love to do the event again.
This was the year that we began the tradition of a knock‐out fashion show that celebrates cancer survivors and fashion.

Celebrate BMC Cancer Survivors at the second annual Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care. This unique event incorporates local and national designers, professional models AND survivors on the runway. Attend this event and see the beauty and strength these survivors have when they are walking the catwalk in one‐of‐a‐kind creations designed specifically for them. Also joining the models and survivors on the runway are BMC staff members and local celebrities.
