    Greeting KBA family and friends,

We have once again reached the close of another year of service in the Kingdom. 2013 was a

year distinguished and designated as the year of Rebuilding with the Residue (Haggai 2:1-9).

Certainly we have been favored to do just that. On February 17, 2013 we as an association

celebrated five continual years of service. This year we made a tremendous decision to forgo the

annual session this past September. And because of it we are now emerging from a state of

    regeneration.

We have been cemented as a team, a family organism, many members operating as one (But now

are they many members, yet but one body. 1 Corinthians 12:20). Through this year we have

continued to build upon a foundation laid with prayer and the call of God. As President of the

association my daily prayer has been, Lord let our building be worthy of its foundation. The

direction, path and journey that we travel together excites me. Over the next five years I envision

us mounting a campaign that would bring into our fold 400 members. In 2008 I set a goal of 200

members by the end of 2013 and we breached that point. This new member campaign seeks to

actively engage and retain an average of 80 new members a year. With each passing of time we

are able to unlock new dimensions of why we exist.

In each season of life I am ever reminded of Galatians 6:9, And let us not be weary in well

doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. I declare after 5 years of much sowing it

    is NOW HARVEST TIME!

.In times of what seems like dormancy or silence, we are feverishly working behind the scenes to

carefully craft and mold what we have been given. We dare not rush to produce a premature

project or phase of KBA. Our desire is to present everything in excellence and order.

    Kingdom Greetings,

It has been my honor and privilege to serve alongside President James another year as Vice

President-At-Large and Chief of Staff. This year President James could count on me as a

sounding board for strategic thinking, planning, and implementation of the vision that The Lord

has given him for this association of kingdom builders. I have also served our President throughpresiding at several meetings this year, especially during those moments where Sabbath is

    needed.

In a similar vein, I was also blessed to serve as a source of comfort for one of our officers in their

time of trial and discernment. I take the role of Chief of Staff very seriously and it is my desire

and duty to be a source of peace, hope and spiritual uplift for the officers who serve with me as

we seek to find our place in the vision The Lord has given our President.

This year, I was blessed to present an article for the Kingdom Chronicle, our quarterly news and

information organ. Also this year, I was blessed to be able to bring one of the officers of thisassociation to preach for the local assembly that I am honored and humbled to pastor. For the

upcoming year, it is my hope and desire to do more for our association. With that in mind I

present the 2014 goals for the Office of Vice President-At-large/Chief of Staff:

To develop a curriculum of Christian Education for our association To establish training for Church growth and development for the members of our

association who are serving in Pastoral Ministry

To provide access to Church growth resources that will provide immediate impact andlasting results as we endeavor to pour into the vision that God has given those of our

    number in Church leadership.

To bring our association into a deeper awareness of the suffering of Christians abroad andinto deeper relationship and connection with likeminded associations, fellowships,

    organizations, and reformations at home.

To continue to serve as a sounding board for our President, and assist in the developmentand discernment of our officers and staff.

May God continue to bless each and every one of you.

    In the name of Jesus,

Rev. Tremaine M. Combs,Senior Pastor, Vice President-At- Large,

    Dear Officers and Members;

It is my pleasure to greet you as the General Secretary of Kingdom Builders Association ofAmerica. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this critical position in our organization. The Office of the General Secretary is the official keeper of records for KBA. It is theresponsibility of the General Secretary to ensure that all membership records are complete andaccurate in conjunction with the Department of Membership Enhancement.

This office also provides oversight to the Department of Communication and Public Relations. We work to together promote KBA in the most appropriate and accurate manner. As anassociation of interdenominational ministers and ministry leaders, it is important that our voice isheard not only in the many pulpits and ministries that we serve, but it is also important that we beheard as we speak to the social ills which plague our society. In addition, we work to ensure thatall financial records are accurate and funds handled appropriately in conjunction with the Officeof the President.

As we enter into 2014-2015, we look forward to achieving the following goals:

Counting Every Members and Making Every Member Counto It is the goal of this office to ensure that every member is counted in concert with

the Department of Member Enhancement. Additionally, it is imperative that everymember contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of KBA. As such, we willbe encouraging the total membership to honor their membership commitment andcontribute to the association on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annualbasis.

KBA has something to say"o Our current membership is comprised of Kingdom leaders covering 28 states and

2 foreign countries. It is imperative that the voice of KBA speaks to eachlocality where our members serve. As such, we will seek collaboration from ourmembership to ensure that the voice of KBA is heard in every state/countrywhere we have representation.

"Know them that labor among you"o We will seek to develop a membership directory in conjunction with the Office of

the President that will highlight not only the ministry gifts of our members, butalso their professional gifts and abilities. Our association is only as strong as wework to make it. Among us are professionals from every sector and KBA needsyour gifts and talents to propel us into a place of prominence.

It is my hope and prayer that my work will enhance the work of KBA, and that we continue togrow as a body.

    Sincerely,

Bishop Umiko D. Jones, Sr.General Secretary

The Department of Membership Enhancement seeks to ensure the members of KBA have a

superior and quality experience with regards to membership from their initial inquiry of the

organization throughout their tenure as members. Our mission is to meet the needs of all

members and help the organization grow by sharing the good news of KBA anywhere possible.

Our strategic plan for the 2014 operational year is as follows:

    1. Increase the membership by 30%2. Complete "Operation Cleanup"; the effort to "scrub" KBAs membership rolls to

determine incumbent members and ensure the data on file is accurate.

    3. Provide opportunities for members to meet and network (not just in church settings)

Promote the KBA benefits to existing members.

all KBA functions through song and dance. We believe in making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

The Kingdom Builders Association of America, Incorporated since 2008 has set out to be

separated and distinct from other organizations, not as a way of being superior but rather

adhering solely to its mandate. With a mandate to equip, encourage and edify Kingdom Leadersit is meticulously necessary to ensure that all onboard are pressing toward the same goal. Many

resolutions and systems of checks and balances have been put in place by the Executive Board to

ensure that we as an association continue unhindered.

In every facet of our existence we aim to do all things in a spirit of true excellence. And it is with

that after a hard decision we will forwent the E3 Summit for 2013.

Along with our leaders, we commission our members as ambassadors of the association. As

ambassadors we encourage you to be a part of our public relations team. Feel free to share our

Facebook page and posts and our website; share our digital magazine. Inform your colleagues in

ministry about an association who seeks to equip, encourage and edify Kingdom Leaders. Our

aim isnt to be an association with a large membership; our aim is to assist as many as we can

through our mission, vision, events and programs. We feel that our current members engage in a

vital role as ambassadors of our association, spreading who we are around the nation.

One of the many duties that our President and Vice President undertake are the recommendation

of officers to the Executive Board for appointment. Officers of our association are held to a high

standard of holiness and excellence in their leadership and lives. All officers that serve currently

have undergone a vigorous interview and vetting process to ensure we have quality leadership

and those who meet the standards as set forth by our constitution. Currently have vacancies

within the association in the following areas:

Director, Department of Communications & Public Relations

Director, Department of Conference Services Director, Department of Missions & Evangelism State Directors (various openings)

We also have from time to time appoint members to Standing and Working Committees to help

coordinate and oversee special projects and movements within KBA.

Members appointed to committees are expected to maintain the same standards as the Executive

Board, Staff and personnel are held to. Should you find an interest and want more information

about serving in leadership with the association please e-mail us at [email protected]

The membership of our association have always been encouraged to give freely to the work and

future endeavors of KBA; we have abundant faith that God will provide, but we also understand

that faith without works is dead. Therefore, we chose to implement an annual membership fee of

$60. Each member will receive a simple reminder to help offset the budget of the association; we

are unlike other membership organizations. We do not remove members because of lack of

contributions but rather due to inactivity. Each leader of the association are under a mandatory

    obligatory financial assessment $100 annually.

The membership of our association matter to us; we were founded as a membership organization

and will continue to be so.

All leaders of our association all work on a salary of sacrifice, and work tirelessly through

personal struggles, trials and triumphs to ensure that we all can be forever equipped, encourage

    and edified.
