Fashion known to be “Eco-friendly” and also called “Green Fashion”Lead by major apparel brands such as Unifi Inc., Levi’s, Victoria’s Secret,

H&M, Target, and Nike in the market.According to Unifi Inc.’s recent research regarding customer attraction to

sportswear, 50% of female and 38% of male participants said they would purchase eco-friendly products.

In addition, Unifi Inc. also announced that they will begin a eco-friendly zipper production line with Ideal, world’s second largest zipper manufacturer.

Levi Strauss has produced jean pants using 100% eco-friendly material and utilized recycled metal and natural wood since ’06 FALL season and these products have been in sale under the name of “Levi’s Eco” since 2007.

Wood Fiber, Bamboo Fiber, Corn Fiber, Soy Fiber are gaining much attention as eco-friendly materials.

Development of new materials and constructing a market according to this will be an opportunity to create novel vitality in the fiber industry.
