• China and India are Rising Technology Powerhouses, with the hottest global growth areas in these 2 regions.

Developers Activities Thus Far

• India is a hot-bed for open source community development and is second only to the USA in open source contributions to the Fedora project.

• Red Hat, in association with College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) hosted the world’s biggest Fedora Users and Developers’ Conference (FUDCon) 2011 in Pune, India.

•There are plans to take FUDCon around the APAC region.
