• Groups: You will be broken up into groups to create a Historical Illustrated Timeline for either the Unification of Germany or Italy.

• You will use three main resources and split the reading and note-taking between your group members.– Textbook: pages 630-633 (one person) with part of the Supplemental Reading to be fair– Ms. Barben’s Powerpoint (three people)– Photocopied Supplemental Reading (three people)

• You will take notes on your assigned unification in the provided graphic organizer.• Then your group will create an Illustrated Timeline consisting of the identified 20

events for your country.• Each event must be in chronological order with an identified year or more specific

date.• Each event must have a visual primary source to identify and define the event and

help students remember.• Each event must have a detailed description of the 5 Ws, How, and Effects in bullet

format.• You will then use the timeline to teach the class.
