Programs are developed by the same design team that creates our designer label portfolio. This expertise ensures our ability to translate your private brand into swimwear, as well as tap into the design know-how of the industry’s leading fashion house.

Rather than merely ‘knocking off’ previous season’s best sellers, our design team thoughtfully develop a private brand by incorporating the same formulas and merchandising concepts that are used to develop our designer brands: market trend information; updates of best sellers; and exciting, new and fresh design concepts.

CASE STUDY The Challenge: A major department store had tried and failed with private brands in swim many times over the years. Corporate initiatives determined that they should try again. But how? Via a commodity trader that could provide knock-offs and deliver cheap prices? Or via a design house that could seamlessly translate a successful private brand into swim?

Depending on the how much you value reactivity versus price, we can customize a sourcing program based upon your needs. We own our factory in the USA and we have exclusive manufacturing agreements with our factories in Asia. You don’t “get in line” when working with RAJ. When something takes off, we make it happen. That’s when it’s fun! The result allows you to chase the winners. . CASE STUDY The Challenge: A mid-tier junior specialty chain does private label with RAJ Manufacturing and another supplier. Due to price and mark up expectations, both vendors sourced product in Asia. The other supplier was late on a portion of their program. The retailer was now about to open the season without the necessary amount of swimwear on the floor. RAJ Manufacturing Solution:

RAJ got the call for help 3 days after Christmas The store needed goods by end of January, eliminating the Asia option January WK 1, RAJ met with customer to review design options Based on early retail selling within its designer label portfolio, RAJ knew that plaids were an important trend of the season January WK 2, the goods were cut in RAJ’s domestic factory By January WK 4 product was delivered to customer… Just 4 weeks from design concept to delivery Despite the difficult economic times, the retailer experienced their best swimwear sales and margin performance in company history
