needed insight, innovation and inspiration.

National OpportunitiesEach American Diabetes Association EXPO is free to attendees and tailored to meet the needs of its host market. In smaller markets, our Neighborhood EXPO events deliver memorable one-on-one connections among audience members, exhibitors, health care providers and other participants. In mid-sized markets, our Community EXPO events offer enhanced reach and engagement opportunities. In large markets, our Premier EXPO events provide a platform for maximum visibility and impact. Designed for participation on a per market basis – or leveraged together as part of a national campaign – our American Diabetes Association EXPO events offer real value to attendees and corporate sponsors alike.

Why EXPO? Why Now?

Diabetes —An EpidemicDid you know that someone is diagnosed with diabetes every 17 seconds? That’s more than 35,000 friends, neighbors, co-workers and family members in the next 7 days. Diabetes is a growing epidemic. It is a disease that has a devastating impact that is physical, financial and emotional. Here, at the American Diabetes Association, we are committed to our mission—to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. We are committed to Stopping Diabetes. The American Diabetes Association EXPO is our premier showcase allowing us to bring our mission to life, serve the community and change the future of this disease. But, we can’t do this alone.

In 2010, EXPO reached 64,000 people across the nation who are touched by diabetes

Despite the pervasive impact of diabetes, reaching people with diabetes and their caregivers represents a significant marketing challenge for both local companies and national corporations.
