Arkansas Young Agent Participation – 2012 Meeting By The Numbers

• AR has approx 260 agency memberships• 115 attendees• Increased participation in event by 30% from 2011 • 43% of active Young Agents in attendance

Changed the event: new name, upgraded speaker quality and curriculum

2011 – Young Agent’s Conference in Hot Springs, AR

2012 – Leadership Conference hosted by the Young Agents in Fayetteville, AR

Sponsorships

Offered 26 scholarships for FirstTimers (agents only) – This was a sponsorship from FirstComp. It generated a lot of new agents!

We had $15,000 in general/event sponsorships – How we do it: We had a title sponsor who gave $3500. For the remainder, our committee contacts companies that their agency writes business with and asks for a general $250 sponsorship.
