full court press

Remembering back to my basketball days, applying a full-court press takes great effort, but can yield tre-mendous results. Usually, a team will use it only towards the end of the game, when they are behind. But Kentucky coach Rick Pitino was famous for using it for most of the game, despite the scoreboard. Why? He knew it gave his team a great advantage. And his teams usually won. Our Family Life volunteer team is growing, and we are leading them in an all out full-court press of mar-riage and family ministry throughout the Kansas City area. God has brought 13 wonderful volunteer cou-ples to our team who are ready to put pressure on the enemy of family and marriage here in Kansas City. They are spiritually fit couples who are in the game, giving it their all, and ready to run until the end, re-gardless of the scoreboard. We met recently with the team to kickoff a new year of ministry, as our big Kansas City marriage conference is coming April 19-21. Our goal is to see God bring 1000 people to this weekend event. We are working hard to get the word out in order that 500 couples might hear God’s truth for their life, and their marriage. Please be in prayer as we spread the word. years old. Join us in praying that we will be consistent in our discipline as we strive to

lead them in obedience. Weekend to Remember 03 The WTR for Kansas City is coming up in April. We are

actively seeking couples who are willing to help spread the

word and to help get others to this weekend away.

Busy Ministry 04 Requests to speak and lead

marriage seminars continue to come our way. Pray we

will use our time wisely, and God will give us energy to minister to those in need.

Can anyone else find it hard to believe that our sweet Emma

turned SIX on Nov. 10th? Time is flying.

Grace Elizabeth turned two in October. She has had such a diffi-

cult start to life with her back pain. However we are seeing

GREAT improvement and she is now a happy, mostly content little

girl. PTL!

We don’t know what you have planned for March 13, 2013 (3-13-2013—how cool is that?) but for us it is the due date

for our newest addition. Yes, baby blessing # 6 will be joining our Gelatt crew on the 13th or sooner.

We have found out that this small blessing is going to be another sweet girl.

We are all thrilled and can hardly wait to see this new Gelatt bundle. Mom and baby are both doing well, PTL!
