(1) Should also be used in mulching conditions where uncut grass is observed.

(2) Not recommended for mulching.

(3) The standard HRS216 blade (72511-VG3-000) should never be installed on another model due to ANSI requirements.

(4) A mulching plug must be installed when mulching for all models except the HRS216 and HRX217.

Notes: Blade recommendations and mowing performance are general guidelines valid for most grass types and conditions. Always refer to the owner’s manual for mowing recommendations.

Mulching Kits & Replacement PartsThese mulching kits convert a rear-bagging unit to a mulching mower. An engineered low-lift blade cuts the grass and then cuts it again and again to produce fine mulch. Heavy-duty plugs, block-off plates, blades and all hardware (as required) are included. Side Discharge ChuteConvert a rear-bag lawn mower to side-discharge. This is a simple, 90-degree elbow that slips onto the rear of the unit and is held in place by the rear guard. The chute is made of tough polyethylene.

Silver Lawn Mower CoverProtect your walk behind (21” deck) lawn mower with a custom fitted waterproof, breathable polyester cover.

Adjustable Smart Drive® KitThis optional kit is for use with HRR216K3VXA, HRR216K4VXA, and HRX217K1VKA lawn mowers only. The parts in this kit are standard equipment on later models. Move the Smart Drive® control up or down into the most comfortable position for the operator. The multi-position adjuster can be moved to five different positions.

Tine Extension PartsExtend the reach of a rear tine tiller with these 4.6" tine extension parts. These tines are the same design and quality as the original tines.

DC Charging CordsIf your Honda generator has DC output, use one of these special cords to charge batteries. All have alligator clips on one end and are 6 feet or 10‘ long.

Cold Weather KitsThese special cold-weather kits were created to address some unusual operational issues with Honda generators operated in extremely cold environments for extended periods of time. While all Honda generators can operate quite well in cold weather, there are some very rare cold-weather conditions where it is possible for water to collect and freeze inside the crankcase breather tube fitted between the air cleaner and crankcase. When this happens, the formed ice can block air flow and possibly cause the generator not to work properly, or some oil to leak out of the engine.

To prevent this, Honda has developed a small, 10-watt heating coil that fits inside the tube and keeps the area warm enough to prevent ice from forming. The heating coil gets its power from the generator by connecting to the back terminal of a selected receptacle. Each kit is unique to a specific generator, and some come with special insulated parts to help regulate the temperature. Once installed, the cold weather kit may remain on the generator; it is okay for it to operate year-round.

Generator Load Bank Test SetThe BCS Generator Load Bank Tester Set is a self-contained unit for load testing AC portable generators that operate at either 120V or 240V at 60Hz, and can accommodate loads as large as 65 amps (15,600 watts). The tester is designed to be used as either a diagnostic tool or to assist in sales. Large voltage, current, and frequency meters display generator vitals while easy to operate switches control the load. Two outlets allow for external loads to be applied so that a customer can determine the proper sized generator necessary for their application. The tester includes a 2-wheel kit for field service portability.

One central LED display instantly provides the user with all generator vitals. Digital meters ensure that the readings are accurate and consistent. Voltage, current, and frequency are simultaneously displayed. No calibration is necessary. A complete set of adapters to suit any type of generator, both 120V and 240V is included (50A and L6-20P adapter is optional). Hooks mounted on the sides of the tester carry the adapters. A large fan provides cooling to the resistive coils allowing for continuous use of the tester.

Note: The fan must be plugged in for the tester to operate.

To Obtain Warranty Service:You must, at your expense, take the Honda Power Equipment part, accessory, or apparel, or the Honda Power Equipment on which the accessory or part is installed, and proof of purchase to any Honda Power Equipment dealer in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands who is authorized to sell that product, during the dealer’s normal business hours. To locate a dealer near you, go to our web site at http://www.HondaPowerEquipment.com and click on Dealer Locator.If you are unable to obtain warranty service or are dissatisfied with the warranty service you receive, contact the owner of the dealership involved; normally this will resolve the problem. However, if you should require further assistance, write or call the Power Equipment Customer Relations Department of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Exclusions:This warranty does not extend to parts, accessories, or apparel affected or damaged by collision, normal wear, use in an application for which the product was not designed, or any other misuse, neglect, incorporation or use of unsuitable attachments or parts, unauthorized alteration, improper installation, or any causes other than defects in material or workmanship of the product. Installing parts and accessories on non-Honda products or engines voids this warranty.
