Dear Valued Customer:
On behalf of the Sales, Marketing and Customer Support teamhere at American Eurocopter, I am pleased to introduce you toour 2012 Customer Service Directory. This directory has beencreated to provide you with a helpful guide to contact and prod-uct information for American Eurocopter, and the electronic ver-sion maintained on our website at www.eurocopterusa.com willbe continually updated throughout the year.
We enter 2012 – the 20th anniversary of Eurocopter – on anupbeat note, with the industry continuing its recovery during2011 in spite of the headwinds faced by some markets. Ameri-can Eurocopter again saw a significant increase in bookings, andwe maintained our position as the leading producer of U.S. civilturbine helicopters for the eleventh year in a row, with 154 air-craft delivered to our civil and military customers.
American Eurocopter continued to expand its local capabilitiesduring 2011, in line with our commitment to providing our cus-tomers with industry best levels of support. Our broad range ofD-Level support capabilities for the Eurocopter product familywas enhanced with the certification of an EC130 tailboom jig, andAmerican Eurocopter has now been appointed as the regionalhub for MR&O of the EC135 and EC145 across North and LatinAmerica.
Customers also benefitted from improvements introduced by ourSupply Services team through the year, including enhanced Key-copter accessibility and additional investment in our DFW-basedlogistics warehouse.
Our simulator capabilities continued to grow during 2011, withInadvertent IMC and NVG recurrency courses added for ourAS350 Level B Full Flight Simulator, which is located alongsideour full-motion EC135/EC145 FTD in Grand Prairie. We havealso now added HELISIM as a satellite flight training facility, enabling U.S. operators to benefit from recent FAA CFR Part 142approval of HELISIM’s EC155 Level D sim.
Eurocopter’s extensive commitment to product investment wasevidenced by initial U.S. deliveries of the AS350 B3e and EC135P2e/T2e in 2011, along with introduction of our first WAAS LPV-equipped EC135, Vision 1000 equipped AS350 and EMS-config-ured EC155 B1. American Eurocopter will continue to add newproducts and upgrades for our customers over the coming years, including the EC175 medium twin and the EC145 T2.
My team and I take great pride in being entrusted with your busi-ness, and I believe this is reflected in the passion and commit-ment shown by all our employees. We will continue to look outfor your best interests in everything we do, and remain at yourservice to support your operational requirements.
Sincerely,
Anthony DiNotaVP – Commercial Sales, Marketing and Customer Support
