A wrestler received a forfeit loss in the semifinals of a regular season tournament due to the fact that the match would have been his 6th of the day. What are the consequences of the wrestler and team, if any?

AnswerBecause a forfeit is a contest, the wrestler would be

ineligible, forfeiting all of his matches for the day. The team would have to forfeit all of its points but the other wrestlers individual results would stand. The host school should not put students in this position and could be censored, sanctioned or placed

on probation.
