THE HTC CENTER INFORMATION

PROHIBITED ITEMSThe HTC Center security personnel have the right to inspect any item at any time to ensure the safety of spectators, officials and competitors. The following prohibited items must be returned to cars or disposed of before entry.Prohibited items include:• Alcoholic beverages • Flags• Backpacks • Carry bags• Outside food/drinks • Hard-surfaced materials• Strollers/infant seats/wagons • Ice bags• Video cameras • Coolers• Water/drink bottles • Weapons of any kind• Umbrellas

BANNERSBanners must be approved prior to display in The HTC Center. Student banners must be approved prior to game day by the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, and the Department of Athletics. Banners may not cover existing signs inside the arena.

DISABILITY ACCOMMODATIONSCoastal Carolina University is dedicated to assisting all people with disabilities or special needs.Wheelchair seating is located on court level. For additional information, please contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 843-347-8499.

The gates to The HTC Center open 60 minutes prior to tipoff and close 30 minutes after the end of the game.

LOST AND FOUNDThe HTC Center lost-and-found is located in the Department of Public Safety office, located in the main concourse across from the Student Recreation Center.

MERCHANDISE The Coastal Carolina University Bookstore – The Chanticleer Store – is located inside The HTC Center, and will be open one hour prior to the start of the game and will remain open throughout the game.

RESTROOMSRestrooms are located in the main concourse across from the Student Recreation Center, and in both side hallways.

SMOKING IN THE HTC CENTERIn conformity with the South Carolina Clean Indoor Air Act of 1990 and to protect the health and safety of Coastal Carolina University students, faculty, staff and visitors, smoking or the possession of lighted smoking material in any form is allowed only in designated smoking areas of the campus. Other than in the designated areas, smoking is prohibited in buildings and outdoor areas.

SOLICITATION The solicitation, distribution or sales of any items or services by anyone other than University-authorized personnel on the campus of Coastal Carolina University, including in The HTC Center and surrounding parking lots, is strictly prohibited. University employees and students must receive prior approval for all solicitation that takes place at Coastal Carolina University athletic events. Unapproved banners, flyers, pamphlets or any other paraphernalia will be disposed of by game-day security, and solicitors will be escorted off the premises. STADIUM SECURITY/USHERSUniformed police and event security personnel are located throughout The HTC Center and surrounding parking lots. Requests for assistance in The HTC Center should be directed to event staff or security personnel.

CHAUNCEY’S SIGN SHOPChauncey’s Sign Shop, located on the second level of the Chanticleer Store, is designed for children 14 and under to create signs in support of the Chanticleers. Chauncey’s Sign Shop will be open before each men’s basketball and select women’s basketball games. The Chanticleer Store and the Department of Athletics will provide all necessary supplies.

BASKETBALL GAMEDAY PARKING MAP

GAMEDAY PARKING INFORMATIONDONOR RESTRICTED LOTSMembers of the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation who donate at the teal level or higher and purchase men’s basketball season tickets will have assigned reserved parking spaces in the donor-restricted lot adjacent to The HTC Center or directly across Founders Drive in the Sands Hall (University Post Office) lot. For entry into the donor-restricted lots, a parking hangtag must be displayed in the front windshield of the vehicle. The only way to enter the donor-restricted lots is from Founders Drive, which is accessible from both S.C. 544 and Chanticleer Drive.

ALL DONOR-RESTRICTED LOTS WILL CLOSE TO THE PUBLIC THREE (3) HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE GAME. ALL VEHICLES LEFT IN A DONOR-RESTRICED LOT WILL BE TOWED. THE LOT WILL RE-OPEN TWO (2) HOURS PRIOR TO THE GAME FOR CAF MEMBERS WITH HANGTAGS.

GENERAL PARKING LOTSThe best game day parking for spectators is in the gravel parking area directly behind The HTC Center, known as the Elvington lots. The easiest way to access these lots is to enter from S.C. 544 just north of Founders Drive through the parking lot of the Ace University Bookstore. In addition to the Elvington lots, the parking areas in front of the Wall College of Business – lots S, A, B and C – are designated for game day parking. These lots are accessible from Chanticleer Drive.

THE WALL BUILDING PARKING LOTS WILL BE CLOSED FOR BASKETBALL SPECTATOR PARKING ONLY TWO (2) HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE GAME. ALL VEHICLES PARKED IN THESE LOTS MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR TO THAT TIME OR RISK BEING TOWED.

STUDENT PARKINGCoastal Carolina University students attending basketball games are permitted to park in the lots surrounding the residence halls.

HANDICAP PARKINGHandicap parking spaces are located in the donor-restricted lot adjacent to The HTC Center and between the north side of The HTC Center and the residence halls. Handicap parking tags are required to park in any of these spaces, which are available on a on a first-come, first-served basis, providing there are handicap spaces open. To access the handicap parking spaces on the north side of The HTC Center turn from Chanticleer Drive toward the residence halls and turn left toward The HTC Center.

TICKETING INFORMATION

GENERAL TICKET INFORMATIONTickets are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.GoCCUSports.com. The final page for ticket purchasing provides an option to print the ticket at home to avoid waiting in line at Will Call. Call the Athletics Ticket Office at 843-347-8499 with any questions.

Single-game tickets for all women’s home games are $5 for the general public, $4 for CCU faculty/staff and $3 for youth. Prices for single-game tickets for men’s home games vary. For the Akron and Clemson games, single-game tickets are $15 for Bronze ($12 faculty/staff), $12 for Fan Zone ($9 faculty/staff) and $8 for youth. For all other CCU men’s home games, tickets are $12 for Bronze ($9 faculty/staff), $10 for Fan Zone ($8 faculty/staff) and $8 for youth.

SEASON TICKET CARDSBasketball Season Ticket Cards have replaced traditional ticket stock for season ticket holders. The Season Ticket Cards will be scanned for entrance to The HTC Center. If your Season Ticket Card is lost, please contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 843-347-8499.

STUDENT TICKET SYSTEMStudents are able to reserve their tickets online by going to www.GoCCUSports.com; the tickets will then be loaded on the student’s University ID instead of producing a paper ticket. Students will have to bring their ID to the game and have the card swiped to enter The HTC Center. The student entrance gate is the only location for students to get their ID cards swiped, and it is located at Gate 2 on the residence hall side of The HTC Center.

TEAM PASS GATEThe team pass lists are located at Gate 1 (the main entrance into The HTC Center) on the southeast corner.

WILL CALLWill Call is located in the south ticket booth on the southeast corner of The HTC Center (by the main entrance). Anyone who has purchased tickets by telephone or online without taking advantage of the printing at home feature will be able to pick up their tickets at Will Call.

We expect everyone attending or competing in an event – at home or on the road – to display the highest standards of responsible sportsmanship toward student-athletes, coaching and support staff members, game officials, and among fans to make athletic events involving the Chanticleers safe, wholesome and enjoyable for all in attendance.

With the Big South Conference and its member institutions, Coastal Carolina University is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fans. When competing in or attending an athletic event, everyone is required to refrain from the following:

• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature.• Use of foul or abusive language, or obscene gestures.• Interference with the progress of the event (including throwing objects onto the playing surface).• Failure to follow instructions of event personnel.• Verbal or physical harassment of participants, officials, fans or event personnel.

Event staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where fans can enjoy the event free from the above behavior. Event attendees who violate these provisions may be subject to ejection without refund and loss of ticket privileges for future events.
