Named after the two-handed broadsword, claidheamh mòr, favored by those legendarily tough Scottish warriors, the new Cannondale Claymore is for those dedicated freaks who like to earn their adrenalin with a little sweat, who armor up for every ride, who like to ride with friends in the bike park, but really live to explore what’s possible in terrain no lift will ever serve.

Cross-mountain downhill bike? Big-mountain trail bike? The Claymore is hard to categorize because up until now, this type of bike hasn’t existed. Until now, riders have been stuck with hard choices: long travel coil shock and slack geometry for aggressive ripping or shorter travel air shock and steeper geometry for climbing and rolling terrain. Never before has a bike allowed you to pedal so much downhill potential up the hill so easily.

The radical new “two shocks in one” DYAD shock technology, engineered and manufactured by FOX Racing Shox in collaboration with Cannondale, brings unprecedented versatility and rideability to the Big Mountain category. Out on the trail, a handlebar lever allows you to toggle between a lower volume, cross country air shock for rolling and climbing terrain, and a high volume, linear air shock for aggressive descents. Switching between the modes also alters the bike’s geometry, keeping the rider in the proper position for the terrain. It’s literally like being able to change shocks from XC to downhill at the flip of a switch.

Adding to this versatility is the two-position shock mount, which allows you to further customize the geometry and handling to perfectly match your terrain and riding style. Cutting edge design and Cannondale’s famous aluminum expertise creates a super light, super durable frame while sophisticated kinematics and linkage design maximize center-stiffness and optimize suspension performance. No other bike on the market can deliver such no-compromise performance across the whole range of mountain terrain. Claymore. Adjust your attitude.

REAR SHOCk TECHNOLOGY

1. DyaD RT2 shockThe new DYAD shock represents a game-changing advance in rear suspension technology. This is the first shock that provides two completely different shock options in one package – the Elevate and Flow settings. Two totally different air spring volumes, two completely separate damping circuits with separate compression damping settings and separate rebound adjustments. It is fundamentally like having

two different shocks available to you at the flick of a switch.

In the 180 mm Flow setting, the shock’s L.A.S. (linear airspring technology) provides a spring rate that is virtually identical to a coil spring and mates it with speed sensitive damping circuits tuned for maximum descending performance. In the 110 mm Elevate setting, the air spring volume is reduced, providing a firm, progressive spring rate, mated to damping circuits optimized for trail riding and climbing performance.

2. Two position shock MountThe Claymore’s versatility starts with two shock mounting options. Changing between the two positions changes your BB height by 1.2 cm and your head angle by a full degree. Choose the geometry that best suits your terrain and riding style, and let the DYAD’s dual nature do the rest.

3. attitude adjustIt’s pretty obvious that attacking steep climbs requires a different attitude than charging aggressive descents, but “Attitude” is also an aircraft term that refers to the angle of a craft relative to the horizon. The Claymore offers riders two ways to adjust their “attitude”. First, the two-position shock mount allows the base geometry to be adjusted to suit the terrain and riding style. Then switching between the DYAD shock’s two settings radically alters the Claymore’s geometry: low and stable for flowing descents, steep and forward for efficient climbing.

DYAD’s dual modes counteract the inability of traditional shocks to account for changes in rider position and bike geometry when climbing. As the terrain points up, the bike and rider’s center of mass shifts rearward, compressing the shock and increasing the sag, forcing the rider to hunch forward to keep the front wheel weighted. The DYAD’s Elevate setting reduces the sag, raising the BB, making the steering angle steeper, and keeping the rider in a position that more closely mimics their position on the flats.

4. pull shock DesignThe pull shock design of the Claymore places the shock’s mass just above the BB keeping the bike’s center of gravity low and centered and making the bike both extremely stable and supremely flickable. It also equalizes forces and concentrates stresses in the super strong BB node.

5. ECs-TC (Enhanced Center stiffness-Torsion Control) systemThe Claymore’s shock linkage uses thru axles which are clamped on both sides, effectively tying the two sides together and dramatically increasing the system stiffness. Ultra-wide bearing placement, double bearings at rear dropouts and a

unique linkage-bearing preload system eliminates freeplay in the rear suspension, improving center-stiffness and enhancing control.

6. Cannondale aluminumCannondale’s trademark double-pass smooth welds, and SmartFormed, septuple-butted, heat-treated 6069 series aluminum. The down tube alone has seven different wall thicknesses, created by butting the tube along its length, then mechanically shaping the tube, then hydro-forming it into the final shape. Incredibly labor intensive and difficult, it shows Cannondale’s continued mastery of the aluminum arts.

7. Box section ConstructionTo maximize strength and stiffness while reducing weight in crucial high-load areas, the BB node, shock link and seat stay bridge are hollow, box-section construction. The two halves of each piece are forged, precision-machined, welded together and heat-treated, forming extremely stiff, strong and light structures. Difficult, costly, and time consuming, it is details like these that make the Claymore truly exceptional.

8. X-12 Thru axleAnother example of our System Integration philosophy, the X-12 thru axle and

dropout system provides the stiffness of a 12 mm thru axle with the quick wheel changes and ease of use of a quick-release wheel. The two-sided derailleur hanger is much stiffer and stronger than traditional single-sided hangers.

9. Uninterrupted seat TubeForget interrupted seat tube designs; a full seat tube provides the maximum possible structural strength and allows for full seatpost height adjustment.

10. Clashnikov Top TubeThe Clashnikov top tube, with its distinctive vertically tapered seat tube yoke and massive diameter at the head tube delivers tremendous stiffness and strength to the top tube/seat tube and top tube/head tube junctions, while its ultra low standover height permits maximum maneuverability.

11. Diablo si head TubeSometimes bigger really is better. The 66.6 mm outer diameter of the head tube provides exceptional stiffness for precise handling and burly, confidence-inspiring strength. Headset cups are eliminated saving weight. The 1.5" steerers are significantly lighter, stiffer and stronger than tapered steerers.

Indulge both sides of your personality – No potions needed. With the revolutionary DYAD shock, Jekyll is back with a vengeance and rewriting the rules once again.

THE ULTIMATE TRAIL BIkE The new Jekyll is a go anywhere, ride anything, two-bikes-in-one superbike. Climb like you’re on an XC bike, descend like you’re on a Big mountain rig, the Jekyll breaks the rules for long travel trail bikes.

Built around radical new shock technology, engineered and manufac-tured by FOX Racing Shox in collaboration with Cannondale, Jekyll essentially delivers two different bikes in one.

A handlebar lever toggles between a lower volume, cross country air shock for rolling and climbing terrain, and a high volume, linear air shock for aggressive descents. Switching between the modes also alters the bike’s geometry, appropriately changing the handling and keeping the rider in the proper position for the terrain.

Cutting edge carbon technology creates a lightweight and nearly indestructible frame while sophisticated kinematics and linkage design maximize center-stiffness and optimize suspension performance. No other bike on the market can deliver such no-compromise performance across the whole range of mountain terrain. Jekyll. Adjust your attitude.

REAR SHOCk TECHNOLOGY

1. DyaD RT2 shock. The new DYAD shock represents a game-changing advance in rear suspension technology. This is the first shock that provides two completely different shock options in one package – the Elevate and Flow settings. Two totally different air spring volumes, two completely separate damping circuits with separate compression damping settings and separate rebound adjustments. It is fundamentally like having two different shocks available to you at the flick of a switch.

In the 150 mm Flow setting, the shock’s L.A.S. (linear airspring technology) provides a spring rate that is virtually identical to a coil spring and mates it with speed sensitive damping circuits tuned for maximum descending performance. In the 90 mm Elevate setting, the air spring volume is reduced, providing a firm, progressive spring rate, mated to damping circuits optimized for trail riding and climbing

performance.

2. attitude adjustThat attacking steep climbs requires a different attitude than charging aggressive descents is pretty obvious, but “Attitude” is also an aircraft term that refers to the angle of a craft relative to the horizon. Switching between the DYAD shock’s two settings radically alters the Jekyll’s geometry and “attitude”: low and stable for flowing descents, steep and forward for efficient climbing.

3. pullshock DesignThe pull shock design of the Jekyll places the shock’s mass just above the BB keeping the bikes center of gravity low and centered and making the bike both extremely stable and supremely flickable. It also equalizes forces and concentrates stresses in the super strong BB node.

FRAME TECHNOLOGY

4. hammerTime CarbonNew, High-Strength, High-Impact Carbon construction. Ultra high-strength fibers developed by the Japanese Military for ballistic armoring, and impact-resistant hot-melt resins are used as the primary structural materials of the frame, while high-modulus carbon fibers are used to strategically enhance stiffness. Lighter and stiffer than aluminum, stronger and more durable than steel, HammerTime carbon can shake off rock strikes and impacts that would cripple the competition and their carbon “shields”.

5. ECT (Expandable Core Technology)Carbon fiber construction gets its strength and stiffness from the precise orientation of the fibers in a structure. Instead of the flexible bladder used in traditional “balloon-in-a-mold” methods, our ECT method of carbon construction uses a special process to hold the fiber strips perfectly in place during molding. This process eliminates carbon “drift” during molding yielding greater strength, less weight and greater reliability.

aluminum. The down tube alone has seven different wall thicknesses, created by butting the tube along its length, then mechanically shaping the tube, then hydro-forming it into the final shape. Labor intensive and difficult, it shows Cannondale’s continued mastery of the aluminum arts.)

6. Co-Molded aluminum BB nodeTo maximize strength in the crucial, high-load BB/shock mount area we co-mold a high-strength, high-precision, heat-treated CNC’d aluminum BB node into the frame. We pioneered co-molding technology with our Six13 and Scalpel carbon/aluminum frames and have evolved it over the years to bring it to this point. High-strength, non-conductive structural fibers at critical joint areas eliminate any chance of galvanic corrosion and structural degradation. The bond formed between the carbon and the aluminum is actually stronger than the bond of carbon to itself.

7. ECs-TC (Enhanced Center stiffness-Torsion Control) systemThe Jekyll’s shock linkage uses thru axles which are clamped on both sides, effectively tying the two sides together and dramatically increasing the system stiffness. Ultra-wide bearing placement, double bearings at rear dropouts and a unique linkage-bearing preload system eliminates freeplay in the rear suspension, improving center-stiffness and enhancing control.

Headset cups are eliminated, saving weight. The 1.5" steerers are significantly lighter, stiffer and stronger than tapered steerers.

12. full sized WaterbottleThe open front triangle, wide shock-link bearings and sculpted link allows the use of a full sized waterbottle, perfect for short rides or extra capacity for the full day epics.

RZ OnE TWEnTy

120 mm of balanced front and rear travel combined with impeccable handling make the light, efficient RZ platform the ultimate bike for long trail rides or your favorite marathon event.

Simplicity has its merits. Simple designs can be lighter, stiffer, more durable and, well, simpler than complex ones. The RZ One Twenty is a perfect example of this philosophy. The culmination of years of dual suspension expertise, the extremely refined modified single pivot suspension design of the RZ One Twenty combines plush, efficient suspension with a super light, super stiff System Integrated chassis to deliver a ride that is balanced, poised and fun.

1. staged TravelSpecifically customized shocks are paired with a precisely engineered swing link to deliver 120 mm of staged travel – plush in the early part of the stroke, more linear through the middle for efficient pedaling and smooth action, and firm at the end to prevent bottoming.

2. size-specific LinkageSuspension is a tricky thing. Subtle changes can have a big impact on the system’s performance. So rather than simply repositioning our shock mounts lower to gain the standover needed on smaller frames, we created an entirely different linkage so that the smaller frames maintain the leverage ratios and shock performance of the larger frames.

3. Opi BackBoneWith Cannondale’s One piece Integration approach, we create lighter, stiffer, stronger parts by combining multiple pieces into a single unit. On the RZ’s BackBone, the seat tube, BB shell and swingarm pivot are 3D forged as a single piece, eliminating excess material and heat affected zones, and providing uniform grain alignment

throughout for exceptional strength in this crucial area.

4. superb handlingThe RZ’s geometry splits the difference between our more aggressive Jekyll and racy Scalpel. Quick enough for technical trail riding, stable enough to keep you out of trouble when dropping that sketchy section at the end of an all day epic.

5. Cannondale aluminumWhether it’s our trademark double pass smooth welds or the sophisticated butting and shaping of the tubes, the RZ One Twenty is a showcase of Cannondale’s years of aluminum mastery.

6. 1.5" si head TubeOur ultra strong 1.5" Si head tube features integrated bearings, eliminating the weight of headset cups and allowing full System Integration with the unbeatable Lefty or standard 1.5" steerer forks. 1.5" steerers are lighter, stiffer and stronger than tapered steerers.

7. BB30 systemThe soul of System Integration, the Cannondale-pioneered BB30 standard is found on all RZ One Twenties.

8. Downtube Waterbottle On all sizesUncluttered and open front triangle design leaves room for a water bottle within hands reach on all sizes.

available for WomenOur Women’s line includes the 120 mm travel Lexi, the lightest weight 120 mm travel women’s specific full suspension bike on the market.

sCaLpEL

The new Scalpel is the lightest, stiffest, most responsive dual suspension XC race bike in the world. Continuing the tradition of the incredibly successful Scalpel platform, the new Scalpel blends the best attributes of previous designs with the cutting-edge carbon construction techniques used on our record setting Flash frames to create the ultimate cross-country race weapon.

At just 1580 g (3.47 lbs) for a complete, painted frame (with shock!) the new Scalpel doesn’t just beat the competition in the weight wars, it obliterates them. Nothing else is even close.

Of course, being the lightest means nothing if stiffness or durability is sacrificed so, in addition to being over ¾ of a lb lighter than its predecessor, Scalpel also posted some of the best stiffness numbers ever recorded in Tour magazine’s independent third-party tests.

Add in the System Integration of our ultra-light Lefty fork, OPI Stem/Steerer, and BB30 Hollowgram crankset, and you have a package that is so much lighter, so much stiffer and so much more efficient than our competitors, it’s not just in a class by itself, it’s attending an entirely different school.

TECHNOLOGY

1. Zero pivotThe heart of the Scalpel design is the Zero pivot rear stay system. No bearings, no bushings, nothing to add weight or cause play, just chain stays and seat stays engineered to flex along a given path, providing 80 mm of plush, progressive travel. Through sophisticated carbon layup, the stays are designed to flex vertically, while remaining extremely stiff laterally and torsionally.

2. hammerTime CarbonCannondale’s new, High-Strength, High-Impact Carbon. Ultra high-strength fibers, developed by the Japanese Army for ballistic armoring, and impact-resistant hot-melt resins are used as the primary structural materials of the frame, while high-modulus carbon fibers are used strategically to enhance stiffness. Lighter and stiffer than aluminum, stronger and more durable than steel, HammerTime carbon can shake off rock strikes and impacts that would destroy Scalpel’s lightweight competition.

3. Tube2Tube ConstructionEach tube is individually laid up, orienting the unidirectional fibers precisely to resist the tube-specific loads, then the tubes are joined and overwrapped following an equally precise layup schedule. Time consuming, demanding and expensive, this process yields the lightest, stiffest and strongest results.

4. One-piece stay assembliesTo maximize strength and consistency at the crucial BB/chainstay junction, both chainstays and the entire BB shell are molded as one piece. The seatstay/upper bridge assembly is also molded as a single piece. Lighter, stiffer and stronger.

5. BB30The soul of System Integration, Cannondale invented the BB30 standard 10 years ago to take crank and frame performance to the next level. Our Hollowgram SL crankset remains the lightest, stiffest production crankset on the market.

6. Oversized Down TubeThe massive 60 mm diameter down tube provides a rock solid base for power transfer and stable handling.

Zero pivots. Zero competition. school is now in session.

7. integrated E-Type front Derailleur MountShimano and SRAM compatible mount and cable routing.

8. si head TubeSometimes bigger really is better. In addition to allowing System Integration with the Lefty front suspension systems, Cannondale’s trademark Si head tube eliminates headset cups for weight savings and provides exceptional stiffness for precise handling and burly, confidence-inspiring strength.

9. Uninterrupted seat TubeForget interrupted seat tube designs; a full seat tube provides the maximum possible structural strength and allows full seatpost height adjustment.

A carbon hardtail mountain bike that’s lighter than most elite carbon road bikes?

– Impossible.

An ultra-ultralight carbon frame that’s tougher than most aluminum mountain bike frames?

– Impossible.

A frame that breaks the mythical 100 Nm/deg/Kg stiffness-to-weight barrier?

– Impossible.

A stiff carbon hardtail that delivers more vertical compliance than the softest titanium frames?

– Impossible.

A frame that is all the above?

– Not only Possible – it’s Reality.

The new Cannondale Flash. World’s lightest mountain frame. World’s best stiffness to weight ratio*, SAVE vertical compliance system, HammerTime High-Impact carbon fiber technology. Lefty and BB30 System Integration.

– Cannondale. Bringing you the impossible since 1971.

Where do you even start? Not since Cannondale rocked the world by bringing oversized aluminum frames into an industry dominated by heavy, flexy steel frames has a frame been such a quantum leap ahead of its competition that it effectively has no competition. The Flash combines radical technologies with innovative engineering to deliver a product that simply turns conventional thinking on its head. An ultra light frame that’s also durable? An ultra stiff and

efficient frame that’s also supple and comfortable? Traditional thinking says that to excel in one area, you must sacrifice in another. Cannondale thinking tells traditional thinking to stuff it.

950 g frame weight**, with a world beating stiffness-to-weight ratio of 103 Nm/deg/kilogram, made out of tough-as-nails carbon fiber and smooth like your Daddy’s Caddy. If you are looking for the absolute pinnacle in carbon hardtail amazingness, look no further. Flash.

1. hammerTime CarbonOur High-Strength, High-Impact carbon construction, HammerTime ends the traditional connection between ultra-light carbon frames and fragility. Over. Period. End of story.

Ultra high-strength fibers, developed by the Japanese military for ballistic armoring, and impact-resistant hot-melt resins are used as the primary structural materials of the frame while the stiffer but more brittle high-modulus carbon fibers are used strategically in protected locations to enhance stiffness. Lighter and stiffer than aluminum, stronger and more durable than steel, HammerTime carbon can shake off rock strikes and impacts that would cripple the competition and their carbon “shields”.

2. Tube2Tube ConstructionWhen it comes to minimizing weight and maximizing stiffness, our Tube2Tube construction simply can’t be beat. Each tube is individually laid up, orienting the unidirectional fibers precisely to resist the tube-specific loads, then the tubes are joined and overwrapped following an equally precise lay-up schedule. Time consuming, demanding and expensive, this process yields the lightest, stiffest and strongest results.

3. Continuous Carbon

950 grams of impossible.

Uninterrupted stiffening fibers run the entire length of the top tube and seat stays, distributing loads more evenly throughout the frame.

4. shape-Optimized TubingStripped down to its bare essentials, each tube represents the maxim of “form follows function”: oversized 53 mm round down tube for maximum torsional rigidity, horizontally oversized top tube for lateral rigidity and ovalized Delta seat tube for maximum BB area stiffness. The straight tubing on the Flash shaves the most weight possible by enabling the carbon fibers to pull absolutely straight, which increases the performance of the fiber.

5. saVE Vibration Elimination TechnologyThe chain stays, seat stays and seatpost on the Flash all feature our trademark SAVE technology. Flattened cross-sections and sophisticated carbon layup allows the SAVE features to act like a micro-suspension system, deflecting vertically to absorb trail shock and vibration, while staying extremely rigid laterally for power transfer and confident cornering.

6. Optimized hardpointsFlash uses postmount disc brake mounts to save the weight of the adapter and

reduce the system weight of the complete bike. Our alloy dropouts and disc mounts are lighter and stiffer than most carbon dropouts, but still have the capability of dissipating heat from the disc brake mounts during race-like conditions. Weight saving direct-mount front derailleur point is compatible for Shimano and SRAM.

7. Optimized Weight savings Through system integrationThe Flash is designed around 2x10 drivetrains, ultralight Lefty forks and BB30 Hollowgram SL cranks for the lowest possible overall system weight and highest possible performance.

8. 1.5" si head TubeOur ultra light, ultra strong 1.5" Si head tube features integrated bearings, eliminating the weight of headset cups and allowing full System Integration with the unbeatable Lefty forks.

Modeled as an aluminum clone of our boundary breaking Flash Carbon, the Flash Alloy personifies the “less is more” philosophy. With a 6061 aluminum tubeset optimized for light weight and high performance and incorporating Si features such as the 1.5" Si head tube, BB30 system and SAVE micro-suspension rear stays, the Flash Alloy is everything you need and nothing you don’t. Pure and simple.

1. sincere imitationFlash Alloy is our highly successful Flash Carbon rendered in 6061 aluminum. Tipping the scale at a mere 1450 g for a large, it’s lighter than many of our competitors’ carbon offerings.

2. Optimized TubesetFlash Alloy’s 6061 tubing is the cutting edge in aluminum crafting, featuring shaping and oversizing at the more stressed areas of the frame to increase strength, rigidity and torsional resistance, and heat-treated to a T6 hardness for strength and durability.

3. 1.5" si head TubeOur ultra strong 1.5" Si head tube features integrated bearings, eliminating the weight of headset cups and allowing the use of either 1.5" steerer forks, or full System Integration with Lefty or Headshok.

4. smooth WeldsWhere other manufacturers patch welds with putty and paint, a Cannondale weld is a true smooth weld. Cannondale’s trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.

5. saVE Vibration Elimination systemOptimized chain stay and seat stay shaping provides lateral rigidity while providing vertical compliance for bump absorption and comfort with no loss in power transfer, and improve rear wheel traction.

6. BB30 systemDesigned by Cannondale 10 years ago, the ultra lightweight, ultra stiff BB30 bottom bracket system has become an industry standard for power transfer, light weight and performance.

TRaiL sL / TRaiL

The Trail and Trail SL may be the least expensive bikes in our mountain lineup, but they might just be the most important. Likely to be a first “nice” bike purchase, Cannondale understands that first impressions are crucial.

We pack the Trail bikes with features and technology derived from its upper end sibling, the Flash, so it has a distinctly high-end, racy, look and feel. In fact, the Trail rivals anything available on the pro race circuit just a few years ago.

We know that someone’s first few experiences out on the trail can spell the difference between a one-time buyer and a life-long cyclist. We’re out to make cyclists.

1. Race geometry. Race performanceTrail SL is a racer through and through. It shares the geometry and many of the features of its Flash brethren.

2. stylishly shaped aluminumTrail SL and Trail’s 6061 aluminum tubing is crafted with mechanical forming technology which allows complex shaping and oversizing at the more stressed areas of the frame. The result is increased strength and remarkable weight savings that make for a lightweight, super enjoyable ride. The SL version benefits from refined butting that saves almost 200 g.

3. True smooth WeldsWhere other manufacturers patch welds with putty and paint, a Cannondale weld is a true smooth weld. Cannondale’s trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.

4. 1.5" head TubeExternally machined 1.5" head tube provides a lighter stiffer front end for point-and-shoot steering. (Trail has a standard 1-1/8" head tube).

5. saVE staysOptimized chain stay and seat stay shaping provides lateral rigidity while providing vertical compliance for bump absorption and comfort with no loss in power transfer.

6. Best in ClassLightest in class at 1600 g frame weight including paint and hardware (SL, size L)

29’ER

haRDTaiL 29’ER

Big wheels keep on turnin’. Really. Roots, rocks, washboards, ruts, you name it. 29" wheels roll right over things that would stop a 26" wheel cold. The extra few inches of diameter make a bigger difference than you’d expect, helping you float over obstacles, increasing the bike’s stability, improving traction and braking, and offering a surprisingly comfortable ride. The way the wheels maintain momentum is simply amazing. You can charge through sections that you tip-toe through on little-wheel bikes and eat up rolling terrain and climb steep, loose stuff like a turbo diesel. People around the world are catching on. The benefits of our exceptional Lefty forks are amplified when used with 29’er wheels. Lefty’s exceptional stiffness and light weight improve performance noticeably compared to other 29’er forks.

Starting with a groundswell of a few adventure racers, long haul trail adventurers and contrarian individualists, 29’ers have recently seen a surge of popularity among World Cup cross country racers, hardcore trail riders and regular riders keen to experience what the big wheels offer.

For them, we proudly offer up an incredible lineup of 29’er hardtails.

The Flash Carbon is hands-down the lightest, stiffest and smoothest riding 29’er frame ever made. If you are looking for the ultimate 29’er race bike, look no further.

Flash Carbon and Flash Alloy 29’ers have a race-oriented geometry with short chainstays, a lower BB, and steeper head angles, designed to replicate the sharp handling, liveliness and incredible power delivery of their 26" wheeled counterparts.

The Trail SL 29’ers have a slightly longer wheelbase and slacker head angles for a stable, confidence-inspiring ride

FLASH CARBON 29’ER

1. hammerTime Carbon

Our High-Strength, High-Impact carbon construction, HammerTime ends the traditional connection between ultra-light carbon frames and fragility. Over.

Each tube is individually laid up, orienting the unidirectional fibers precisely to resist the tube-specific loads, then the tubes are joined and overwrapped following an equally precise layup schedule. Time consuming, demanding and expensive, this process yields the lightest, stiffest and strongest results.

3. Continuous CarbonUninterrupted stiffening fibers run the entire length of the top tube and seat stays, distributing loads more evenly throughout the frame.

4. shape-Optimized TubingStripped down to its bare essentials, each tube represents the maxim of “form follows function”: oversized 53 mm round down tube for maximum torsional rigidity, horizontally oversized top tube for lateral rigidity and ovalized Delta seat tube for maximum BB area stiffness. The straight tubing on the Flash shaves the most weight possible by enabling the carbon fibers to pull absolutely straight, which increases the performance of the fiber.

5. saVE Vibration Elimination Technology

go big.

29’ER

The chain stays, seat stays and seatpost on the Flash all feature our trademark SAVE technology. Flattened cross-sections and sophisticated carbon layup allows the SAVE features to act like a micro-suspension system, deflecting vertically to absorb trail shock and vibration, while staying extremely rigid laterally for power transfer and confident cornering.

6. Optimized hardpointsFlash uses postmount disc brake mounts to save the weight of the adapter and reduce the system weight of the complete bike. Our alloy dropouts and disc mounts are lighter and stiffer than most carbon dropouts, but still have the capability of dissipating heat from the disc brake mounts during race-like conditions. Weight saving direct-mount front derailleur point is compatible for Shimano and SRAM.

7. Optimized Weight savings Through system integrationThe Flash is designed around 2x10 drivetrains, ultralight Lefty forks and BB30 Hollowgram SL cranks for the lowest possible overall system weight and highest

possible performance.

8. 1.5" si head TubeOur ultra light, ultra strong 1.5" Si head tube features integrated bearings, eliminating the weight of headset cups and allowing full System Integration with the unbeatable Lefty forks.

flash alloy 29’erOur Flash Carbon 29’er rendered in 6061 Aluminum. The lightest, fastest alloy 29’er on the market.
