Severn Bridge, Spring The Old Severn Bridge is one of the world’s great engineering achievements, built on a dramatic red rock cliff dating back to the Jurassic with fossils and white mineral veins. This excursion explores the very large , the very small, the old and the new, with some atmospheric ruins in-cluded, followed by lunch and a debrief in the Boars Head at Aust. 4 hours Sat-urdays.
Westonbirt , Autumn Whether it is the majesty of great tree silhouettes in winter, the subtle pastel hints of spring, or the intense colours of summer and autumn, Westonbirt always provides a great photographic experience. The photo opportunities extend from inter-esting close-ups to dramatic vistas of shape and colour and this is often a good place to try out experiments with depth of field to capture truly memorable examples of nature’s work. Half Day (4hrs)
Bristol, city lights Bristol’s Millennium Square is the starting point for this magical mystery photo tour of the city lights. Your guide will help you create sparkling nightscapes, capture brilliant reflections and record images of a vibrant city . You can explore the night settings, experience the dramatic colour changes and adjust the white balance settings to record the city from a new and very attractive set of view points. 3 hrs Evenings
Cannop Valley, Summer Some of our courses ask you to get up early... but believe me it is worth it to cap-ture the mist of early morning in the forest, on the rivers and around the ancient ham-mer ponds of Cannop, in the Forest of Dean. You can choose from twenty courses designed for all photography skill levels giving you a wide choice of dates to fit in with your holiday plans in the Sev-ern and Wye valleys and the Forest of Dean.
