Find the closest ATM and the restaurant a friend recommended with Points of Interest. Then chart your progress with the system’s 3-D perspective mapping feature or check out the info for your stereo and incoming calls on the centre-mounted display screen. Nissan Intelligent Key® Your days of hide-and-seek are over. With this available feature, the key never has to leave your pocket. Sentra senses your approach so you can open the doors or the trunk, let your friends in and start the engine, all without taking out the key.

Not your average 60/40-split fold-flat seats. You don’t even need to remove the head restraints. This available feature was designed with SUV-style functionality in mind. First the bottom cushion flips forward, then the seatbacks fold down to create an ultra-useful flat surface. Combined with an extra-large trunk pass-thru, Sentra maximizes your flexibility and your fun.

Amazing space.Of course you can bring it along. Sentra understands that real life can be complicated. But taking it with you doesn’t have to be. Available Divide-N-HideTM trunk system. Keeping convenience a top priority, the available Divide-N-HideTM trunk system helps you organize what’s what. There’s plenty of cargo room with the divider up, plus helpful bag hooks to help keep things from sliding around. But hold on – a secret storage space is revealed when you press the release handle and drop the panel. Providing more room than you expected and a hidden spot to stash your swag, it’s also a way to corral bigger items and prevent them from rolling across the trunk. You can even access it from inside the cabin.

The massive glove compartment is so deep, it can easily hold a purse, sunglasses and plenty of other necessities.

Clever cup holders have a sliding divider, so they can hold cups of different sizes or items you want to keep handy.

Intelligent CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).2 If you’re into not just the latest, but the smartest, intelligent CVT takes you there. Different from ordinary automatics, CVT is virtually “gearless.” It keeps the engine performing at optimal rpm for efficient cruising and fast response. You’re in for one quick rush of acceleration and a super-smooth drive.

6-speed manual transmission. If it’s full control of six gears that does it for you, the 6-speed manual keeps you close to the action. Triple-cone synchronizers in first and second gear make for brisk and precise shifting. While a smaller rpm drop with each upshift means a more seamless response to your demands.

Ripple control.  When conventional shock absorbers hit a bump, they send little “ripples” through the suspension. Sentra uses technologies developed for premium luxury sedans and sports cars, with “ripple-control” shocks that improve handling and help dampen vibrations to better the ride.

Rebound spring. Maybe you’re one of those people who has never met a curve you didn’t like. In that case, let us introduce the rebound springs on Sentra. They help control motion during cornering and curves to hook you up with more confident handling.

Safety is the ultimate must-have on any journey, and it comes along with Sentra. With active safety technologies like an Anti-lock Braking System and available Vehicle Dynamic Control,1 Sentra does its best to help you avoid incidents. But if the unthinkable happens, six standard airbags are always at the ready.2

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC). Should Sentra happen to oversteer (f ishtail) or understeer (plow forward) while you’re driving, available VDC reduces engine out- put and/or applies brake pressure to specific wheels to help you stay on your steered path.1

A n t i - l o ck B rak ing Sys tem (ABS).  Nearly everyone gets caught in a panic-braking situation at some point. If you do, 4-wheel ABS can prevent your wheels from locking up, helping you maintain steering control.

Have a safe trip.

1 VDC, which should remain on when driving except when freeing the vehicle from mud or snow, cannot prevent accidents due to abrupt steering, carelessness, or dangerous driving techniques. Always drive safely. 2 Airbags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, rear-facing child restraints should not be placed in the front-passenger’s seat.

Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD). Working in tandem with ABS, EBD sends additional braking power to the rear wheels to compensate for extra weight in the car, whether it’s passengers, luggage or both.

Protecting the little ones. Nissan safety engineers have dedicated thousands of hours to evaluating hundreds of child restraints in Nissans. The result: An industry first, The Snug Kids Child Safety Seat Fit Guide. Six standard airbags. The Nissan Advanced Airbag System (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage airbags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the airbag. For side-impact protection, supplemental airbags are actually built into the front seats, so they move with you as you adjust your seating position. And roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags help provide head protection for front and rear outboard passengers in side-impact collisions.2

Front-seat Active Head Restraints. By moving up and forward in the event of a rear-end collision, Active Head Restraints help reduce whiplash-type injuries to front-seat occupants.

Also, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size.
