The FSGA formed the Future of Golf Foundation to benefit juniors and the future of golf in Florida. The FSGA has committed $250,000 over five years to the Future of Golf Foundation.
The Foundation is funded by contributions and fundraising programs including FSGA membership initiatives. All memberships above the Regular membership level will benefit the Foundation. In addition, FSGA competi-tors and visitors to www.fsga.org will have the opportunity to donate through their tournament entries and pur-chases on the website.
Last year, the FSGA awarded more than $90,000 in college scholarships, financial assistance, and grants to deserv-ing juniors in the state and the Florida Women’s State Golf Association.

Dear Florida Golfers,
Thank you for supporting the Florida State Golf Association. As a member of the FSGA, you are helping us preserve and protect this great game and provide for Florida's golfers. Please take some time to look over the Season Guide as there are plenty of events and op-portunities for golfers of all ages and abilities.
We must first recognize all of the FSGA Committee Members who make this happen. There are more than 400 Committee Members across Florida who assist with tournaments and course rating. The FSGA has become one of the premier state golf associations in the country because of the fine men and women who help us serve the game.
In 2011, the FSGA will conduct more than 400 days of competition including: 25 state championships, 45 USGA qualifying events, 24 Florida Junior Tour events and 130 One-Day tournaments. The FSGA will visit such top courses as Black Diamond, TPC Blue Monster at Doral, and Bear Lakes Country Club. New for 2011 is the addidion of the Super Senior Championship at Vero Beach Country Club. The Florida Junior Tour (FJT) continues to provide competitive and affordable tourna-ments for the state’s top junior golfers. In its eighth season, the FJT consists of 24 events for boys and girls ages 13-18. If you have the chance, come out to see these unbelievable junior golfers.
We hope you will join the FSGA as a Foundation Member and support the Future of Golf Foundation. The Foundation was formed to benefit the state’s juniors with college scholar-ships and assist with travel expenses to national tournaments. Last year, we provided more than $90,000 in scholarships and grants to deserving juniors and the FWSGA.
We hope you will join the FSGA this year and hope to see you at an event soon.
Sincerely,
Tom KeedyFSGA President
