All Media Painting Intermediate Level Adult & Community Enrichment Course Instruction is individualized according to the knowledge and needs of each student. Stu- dents are free to work in a studio setting. The creation of paintings is explored through ap- proaches to still life, figure and landscape. In- structor provides list of supplies which most students have. 1. Develop the painting skills, techniques and aesthetic sensibilities related to artistic expres- sion in painting media of choice - emphasis on color, value and composition. 2. Develop the ability to evaluate and analyze your own work as well as the work of other stu- dents in the class. Dates: ***NEW DAY*** Thurs., Sept 29 – Nov 17 (8 sessions) Time: 10:00am - Noon Place: Art Room Fee: No Fee; Student provides supplies Instructor: Marilyn Charlotte Marilyn is an award-winning artist who brings versatility in watercolor, acrylic and oil painting and subject matter. Her work is exhibited in galleries and art shows throughout Florida and is in private collections internationally. Marilyn has taught art courses and workshops in her studio/gallery and in art center settings around Florida. She is presently Vice President of Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society.  Computing I (Windows 7) Adult & Community Enrichment Course This class is designed specifically for seniors. Each student is provided with a state-of-the-art laptop computer during the class. Lessons are also projected onto an oversized screen at the front of the classroom. After completing this course, students' fear and confusion about their computer disappears. The class focuses on having fun while learning to send and receive e- mail, navigate around the computer and create files. Solid, basic computer skills are your main take-away from this class. Attendance will be limited to six (6) students from Glenridge. Students will be enrolled in the order in which registrations are received. Com- puters will be provided but students may bring their own laptops. Laptops brought to class by students may not have access to the Internet. This class is based on the Windows 7 operating system; it is NOT oriented toward MAC com- puters. Dates: Thurs., Sept 29 Nov 17 (8 sessions) Time: 9:00am 10:30am Place: MacIntyre II, 2 nd floor Fee: $15.00 Instructor: Robert Wolfe Mr. Wolfe has a degree in Computer Science and has been teaching computer classes for Adult Education and Senior Enrichment for sev- eral years. He makes learning computers a unique experience.
