He built up that business from a customer database of just four when he started, to more than 4,500 a year later – all without staff, a shopfront, and without any mainstream advertising in print, radio or television – instead opting to promote his new business using Social Media Marketing.

Monique Filer Monique is the co-founder of b.box for kids, the company behind b.box - the award winning range of innovative, stylish and practical everyday baby essentials. After having children, Monique quickly realised that her high flying role in the corporate world was not what she was looking for. She wanted an avenue where she could use her finance and operations expertise that also enabled her to achieve the sought after family/work balance. Monique oversees all finance, operations and manufacturing for b.box, including sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating production terms, pricing, quality control and testing. Peace MitchellPeace is the co-owner of connect2mums and co-author of 'The 7 secrets to Standing Out'. Peace is passionate about supporting mums and has also been responsible for co-founding non-profit organisation Mothers Helping Others, and co-authoring the book, "What I wish I knew before I became a mother'. Peace was awarded the Johnstone Shire Australia Day Citizen of the Year award in 2008 for her work with 'Mothers Helping Others' and was a Board Member of the Playgroup Queensland Board of Management from 2008 - 2010. Peace is a qualified teacher and has also worked in publishing and enjoys the opportunity Connect2mums provides for utilising the skills learnt in each of these trades. Peace is mum to three boys and uses her experience as a mother to mentor and support mums.
