The owner of this 2010 Mercedes S550 brought the car to us for some upgrades soon after he purchased it. He wanted to start with the Kleeman headers, Kleeman ECU, K&N air filters and a remote start, which he purchased from us and we gladly installed them for him.TRANSCRIPT

The owner of this 2010 Mercedes S550 brought the car to us for some upgrades soon after he purchased it. He wanted to start with the Kleeman headers, Kleeman ECU, K&N air filters and a remote start, which he purchased from us and we gladly installed them for him.

We did the Kleemann ECU, K&N air filters and remote start first. After which, we installed the Kleeman Stainless Steel Headers, which comes with all necessary hardware including gaskets. The headers also come with performance catalytic converters.

After carefully removing all the factory exhaust components, they were laid out and compared to the Kleemann pieces. You can clearly see the performance oriented differences.

The new headers were test fitted, measured and carefully positioned to fit like factory with all the proper clearances taken into consideration.

Subsequently, the factory exhaust pipes were cut and tack welded in place. All clearances were double checked before final welding.

After everything bolted into place and temporarily welded, the complete system was removed and the pipes were permanently welded together.

The system was bolted into place and secured to the factory mounting spots with all OEM sensors and under-body splash guards. Once again, the system was thoroughly checked for proper clearances.

Once the installation was complete, the car was started and tested for exhaust leaks…which were non-existent thanks to our talented welder. Then it was test driven to make sure there were no rattles and noises.
