Awards CeremonyAt approximately 9:45 am, outside the Visitors Center, neathe fnish line, the awards and prizes will be presented tothe top three male and emale overall fnishers. Followingthe ceremony, awards or the top three male and emalefnishers in each fve-year age group will be available orpick-up at the awards table. The top three male and emaleoverall fnishers will not be eligible in the fve-year age groupsThe age groups are as ollows: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29

30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64. 65-69 and70+. The top three male and emale overall fnishers or theyouth and tot runs will also receive an award immediatelyollowing the end o the race. Awards will be given only toregistered runners with a valid registration bib. The ofciarace results provided by Mattoon Multisport will be used ooverall and age group rankings.

Youth and Tot RunsThe Youth Run is or children ages 6 to 10 and the Tot Runis or children ages 1 to 5. Races will start ollowing the 5KRun/Walk award ceremony. Youth Run is 1-mile in length andthe Tot Run is 1/4-mile. Only the Youth Run will be chipped

timed. Registration or the Youth and Tot Run wil l close whenthe 5K Run/Walk registration closes.

Parking & Facilities Ample ree parking or race participants and volunteers isavailable close to the Visitors Center so participants can leavegear in their car. Registration, rereshments, restrooms andthe awards ceremony (in case of inclement wheather) will belocated inside the Visitors Center.

RefreshmentsAter the race, stay or rereshments and award presentationsthen enjoy the many eatures o Cantigny.

VolunteersVolunteers are needed to assist with registration, packet pick-up, rereshments, as course marshals and at water stops. Thefrst 50 volunteers will receive a ree race t-shirt, rereshmentsand access to the Cantigny grounds and museums or theday. Bicycles, Strollers, Etc.Bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, other wheeledvehicles (except wheelchairs), and dogs are not allowed onthe course, will not be allowed through the fnish chutes andwill not be included in results. Runners with baby strollersmay not run competitively and must start ater and remainbehind runners or the entire race.

The 5K CourseThe 5K course is USATF (#IL-04078-JW) certifed entirely onCantigny grounds and a blacktop surace. The race startsat the Visitors Center and proceeds out onto the rolling hillso the Cantigny Gol course and back to the Visitors Center.Participants will run past the 1st Division Museum, the RobertR. McCormick Museum, and fnish by running throughCantigny Gardens to the Visitors Center. The portion on thegol course will be run on the cart paths. Digital clocks or

timers will be located at mile markers. Water stations will beset up at the hal way mark and at the start/fnish line.

Early Packet Pick-upRegistration packets may be picked up rom the Visitors Center,located at Cantigny, on Friday November 5, 2010. From 10:00am until 6:00 pm to avoid the crowds the morning o the race.

Your timing chip will be available the day o the event ater youhave received your bib number. The parking ee will be waivedor registered participants picking up their packets.

Race ResultsAll participants in the 5K and in the Youth Run will be chippedtimed by Mattoon Multisport and given the opportunity toreview their results, as they come in, at various locations onthe property. Results will include fnish time, pace, overallinish position, age and division place. The Tot Run willnot be chipped timed. Final results will be posted at www.mattoonmultisport.com, www.mychicagoathlete.com, www.cararuns.org and www.cantigny.org.
