OverviewThe Annual ACS Leadership Summit is designed to develop the leadership potentialo the Arican Caribbean Society (ACS) network by bringing Presidents o

dierent ACS networks together to a one-day orum to share, learn and connect

through a series o sponsored workshops, guest speakers, panel discussion and

networking opportunities. The theme or this years Summit was Leadership in a new

    Decade.

Speakers at this years Summit included: Trevor Faure (Global General Counsel &

    Aims & Objectives:

The ACS Leadership Summit emphasises three important elements or the

development o the ACS network - Share, Learn, Connect. Success o the Summit

is measured on how much opportunity we create or attending delegates to

    experience these elements.

    Share:

We want the Summit to create a platorm that encourages pro-active discussions

amongst participating delegates, leading to potential collaborative partnerships

between universities during the new academic year and beyond.

    Learn:

We brought together a line up o leading thinkers to share their thoughts on

leadership with delegates. We also identifed key leadership topics required or

eective leadership at university and beyond; and engaged our sponsors to share

their knowledge and experiences with delegates.

    Connect:

It is important or delegates to engage with employers and identiy employment

opportunities or their ACS members. The Meet the Sponsors part o the Summit

allowed delegates and recruitment representatives rom sponsors organisation to

network with one another and exchange contact details.

    The Feedback
