• CSUDH received a $50k grant from Verizon for Summer Outreach and Bridge Programs
• CSUDH and Southwestern Law School have partnered on a new program for undergraduate students interested in pursuing careers in law. We are offering a 3+3 program through which students can earn their B.A. and J.D. degrees in six years.
• The National Science Foundation has awarded CSUDH three grants that total more than $1 million.
– $750,000 for scholarships. 5-year program with over $10,000 to be awarded to juniors and seniors majoring in math or sciences.
– $193, 262 to develop a record of monsoon rainfall variability of the past 2,000 years.
– $57,168 to provide computer science research facilities on campus.
