Hockey was not a part of our family activities until Beth’s dad started skating in his forties. Beth was 11. We were definitely late bloomers in the world of ice hockey.
In the last seven years, I have seen growth in ice hockey for girls, not only in my town y , g w y g , y y wbut also in the state and the region. I have been amazed as to how quickly a new skater takes to the game. Ice hockey is truly a lifetime sport and is one of the fastest growing sports for girls and women.
The Rocky Mountain District recognizes this growth and has opened another avenue for girls to reach a higher level of play, a higher level of team commitment and hopefully a higher level of joy for the game. I am honored to be a part of this dedicated group of players, families and friends.
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the
SECOND ANNUALRocky Mountain District Recreational Tournament for Girls
Please let me know if I can be of service during your stay.
