Code of EthicsFEI’s mission includes significant efforts to pro-
mote ethical conduct in the practice of financial man-agement throughout the world. Senior financial officershold an important and elevated role in corporate gover-nance. While members of the management team, theyare uniquely capable and empowered to ensure that allstakeholders’ interests are appropriately balanced, pro-tected and preserved. This Code provides principles towhich members are expected to adhere and advocate.They embody rules regarding individual and peerresponsibilities, as well as responsibilities to employ-ers, the public and other stakeholders. Violations ofFEI’s Code of Ethics may subject the member to cen-sure, suspension or expulsion under procedural rulesadopted by FEI’s Board of Directors.

All members of FEI will:1. Act with honesty and integrity, avoiding actual or

3. Comply with rules and regulations of federal, state,provincial and local governments, and otherappropriate private and public regulatory agencies.

5. Respect the confidentiality of information acquiredin the course of one’s work except when authorizedor otherwise legally obligated to disclose.Confidential information acquired in the course ofone’s work will not be used for personal advantage.
6. Share knowledge and maintain skills important andrelevant to constituents’ needs.
7. Proactively promote ethical behavior as a responsiblepartner among peers, in the work environment and thecommunity.
8. Achieve responsible use of and control over all assetsand resources employed or entrusted.
9. Report known or suspected violations of this Code inaccordance with the FEI Rules of Procedure.

I Chapter Member Categories and Annual Dues • Active and Academic Members – Annual Chapter dues
of $285, with no additional charge for dinner meetingsand events.
• Other Member Categories – Members in the followingcategories (whose status, other than for Out of AreaMembers, is verified by FEI National) have the optionof (1) paying reduced annual Chapter dues of $40 anda Member charge for each event they attend, or (2)paying full Chapter dues with no additional charge fordinner meetings and events.
• Members in Transition• Retired Members• Entrepreneur Members• Out of Area Members – Live or work more than 100
miles from Phoenix.• New Members – New Members who join the Chapter
prior to January 1st of a fiscal year pay full Memberdues of $285. New Members who join the chapterafter January 1st pay partial Member dues of $150.
II Strategic Partner Annual Fees • Academic Level Partner – Annual Fee of $8,000, that
allows full page ad in Directory plus name recognitionand participation in academic awards.
• Platinum Level Partner – Annual Fee of $5,000,which allows two representatives to attend dinnermeetings and Chapter events plus the following:• Presentation at professional development session• Full page Directory ad• Subscription to Newsletter and National FEI magazine
• Gold Level Partner – Annual Fee of $3,000, whichallows a single representative to attend dinnermeetings and Chapter events plus the following:• Half page Directory ad• Subscription to the Newsletter
III General Policies Which Apply to Members, Strategic Partners and Guests
• Membership dues and Strategic Partner fees are dueby August 31st of each fiscal year. If not paid by theSeptember dinner meeting, the Guest fee will be col-lected and will be credited against the dues or fee ifpayment is received by September 30th. If not paidby September 30th, the Member or Partner will bedropped as an active participant.
• Reservations should be made prior to the indicateddeadline by e-mailing the Chapter ManagementProfessional. (E-mail to [email protected] ).
• Reservations for Guests may be made only byMembers and Partners and the Members andPartners who make guest reservations are responsiblefor paying for or obtaining the appropriate Guest feeprior to the event involved. This does not apply tothe first meeting attended by Prospective Memberswho are verified by the Membership Committee.The Guest fee for Dinner Meetings is $45.00.
• Reservations made and not cancelled prior to thereservation cut-off date are guaranteed reservationsfor which the Member or Partner is responsible. • Members and Partners who do not attend an event
for which they have a guaranteed reservation willreceive a notification by e-mail the first time ithappens in a fiscal year and thereafter will beassessed the Guest or special member fee involvedfor any additional guaranteed reservation no-showsduring the same fiscal year.
• Members and Partners are responsible for payingfor or obtaining payment for their Guest no-shows.
• Prospective Members, as verified by theMembership Committee, are entitled to one no-charge dinner meeting or guaranteed reservationno-show and thereafter are responsible for payingthe Guest charge for attending Chapter events orfor being a no-show with a guaranteed reservation.
