2. Dal Farah After completing his studies at Lambeth College, Dal is working as a community initiatives officer at the Octavia Foundation, a charity based in west London. His job involves developing young people's skills in media; from editorial skills to public speaking and interview techniques. COURSE: Fast-track in Newspaper Journalism CENTRE: Lambeth College GRADUATED: February 2009 3. Harvey Hook COURSE: Academic year course in Photojournalism CENTRE: Sheffield College, Norton College GRADUATED: June 2009 Harvey completed the academic year course in photojournalism at Sheffield College, Norton College. He is now working for an international news agency and has had a lot of his work published in national titles. 4. Christina Johnson Christina graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an MA in newspaper journalism. She was appointed as an intern at the NCTJ in July 2009, responsible for administering and promoting the Journalism Diversity Fund. After completing her six-month internship in January she got a job as a trainee reporter on the Luton & Dunstable Express. Claire OCallaghan Claire is now a full time broadcast journalist for the fastest growing radio station in Ireland, 'i102104' in Galway. She completed an MA journalism course at the University of Ulster. COURSE: MA Journalism CENTRE: University of Ulster GRADUATED: August 2009 6. Hayley OKeeffe When Hayley finished her course with noSWeat Journalism Training she found work at the Johnston Press title; Bedford Times and Citizen. Hayley has also received an award from her former college for the best news story over the centres ten year history. Eimhar ONeill Eimhar is working as a current affairs/investigative journalist with Belfast company Below the Radar. She studied an MA journalism course at the University of Ulster. COURSE: MA Journalism CENTRE: University of Ulster GRADUATED: August 2009 8. Kevin Rawlinson Kevin completed the MA in newspaper journalism at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. He then started working shifts on The Independent newsdesk. After a few months he was given a contract and now works as the home news editorial assistant, where he is expected to keep the desk running as well as pitch and write news and features.
