A&WMA takes pride in supporting the future environmental leaders of our world in research, teaching, engineering, and environmental

practice. For more than a decade, the Association has awarded 96 scholarships totaling US$334,750 to the most promising environmental students. This year, A&WMA is pleased to add US$32,000 to the above total by recogniz-ing the following 12 students chosen by the Scholarship Awards Committee. In addition, two special Centennial Scholarship Awards were awarded to commemorate the Association’s 100th anniversary and to further the experi-ence of students studying in innovative fields.

Scholarship applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. Eastern, January 11, 2008. Awards will be announced in March 2008.
