1 Remove the main seat and thepassenger seat.

2 Attach the PCIII to the righthand side of the subframe usingthe supplied velcro (Fig. A).

3 Remove the fuel tank.

Note:The installation can be per-formed without removing thefuel tank although having itremoved may make it easier.

4 Route the PCIII harness downthe left hand side of the bike.Go under the tail section andthen under the subframe crossbrace.

5 Attach the ground wire from thePCIII to the negative side of thebattery (Fig. B).

6 Route the PCIII wiring along theleft hand side of the battery andinside the fuel tank framebracket (Fig. C) or under thefuel tank if it was not removed.

7 Unplug the stock wiring harnessfrom the LOWER injectors ofthe throttle bodies (Fig. D).

Note: If the PCIII is connected to theupper injectors the bike will runpoorly and will not show RPMdata in the software.

8 Plug the connectors from thePCIII in-line of the injectors andstock wiring harness (Fig. E).

Note: Use the stock wire ties to holdthe PCIII harness to the throttlebodies.

9 Locate the Throttle PositionSensor on the right hand side ofthe the throttle bodies.

10 Locate the PINK wire withBLACK tracer and crimp thesupplied wire tap to this wire.

11 Plug the grey wire from thePCIII to the wire tap (Fig. F).

Note: It is recommended to use dielec-tric grease on these connections.

12 Reinstall the fuel tank if it wasremoved. Make sure that noneof the wires get pinched.

13 Reinstall the seats.
