The Road to Democracy: Celebrating 20 Years of Diversity The Road to Democracy: Celebrating 20 Years of Diversity, is an initiative of Dr Wayne Alexander, Director of Iziko Education and Public Programmes, and is project managed by art educators Yentl Kohler and Kathy Coates. The project comprises a calendar, art exhibition and a booklet that showcase visual art and design produced by learners and youth from the Western Cape. It aims to celebrate the creative work of learners in the 20th year of democracy.Please bring your learners and families to the Iziko South African National Gallery to celebrate South Africa’s 20 years of diversity on our road to democracy. Workshops and walkabouts are available, and a creative doodle space has been set up. Contact Yentl Kohler or Kathy Coates for further information and bookings. The exhibition is open from 13 February to 30 April 2014.
