PREPARATION FOR USE

Carefully remove all the components from the carton and remove all packing materials from the components. Make sure nothing is accidentally discarded with the packing materials. Save the carton and the packing materials, if possible, in the unlikely event that the unit ever needs to be returned for service. Using the original carton and packaging material is the only proper way to protect the unit from shipping damage. Unwind the AC power cord on the back of the main unit and extend it to its full length. BATTERY INSTALLATION Insert 2 AAA/LR03 TYPE batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Be sure that the battery is inserted correctly to avoid damage to the remote control. To select the USB mode please select the CD MODE and press CD/USB button on remote control to switch into USB mode. MUTE Button (On Remote Control Only) 1. You can also press the MUTE button on the remote control to turn off the sound temporarily, for example, when answer the telephone. Press the MUTE button again to cancel the mute function and restore the sound. 2. The mute function will also be cancelled automatically by pressing the VOLUME + or – buttons. LOUDNESS Press LOUDNESS button to enhance the bass level immediately when bass is not enough. FUNCTION Press successively the FUNCTION button to adjust VOLUME, BASS and TREBLE at your convenience. Press FUNCTION once if you want to adjust the volume, twice to adjust the bass and 3 times to adjust the treble. CD / MP3 OPERATION You can play in your Micro System your audio CD and MP3, CD -R. Please do not try to play CD-ROM, CD -I, VCD or DVD. 1. Open the disc tray by pressing OPEN/ CLOSE button on the unit or on the remote control. 2. Insert the CD with the printing side facing up and close gently the disc tray by pressing again OPEN/ CLOSE. 3. Press SOURCE button to select the CD MODE. 4. Press to start the CD playback; for AUDIO CD, playback starts automatically. 5. Press stop button on unit or on remote control to stop playback. Searching for a section within a CD (On Remote Control Only). During playback, press and hold / on the remote control to find a specific passage within the track and release it at the point you want to listen to. Select another track or fi le Press or button on the remote control to select a particular track. Listening to your tracks (files) repeatedly (On Remote Control Only) 1. Press REPEAT button repeatedly to activate the REPEAT function in following order: REPEAT 1 -REPEAT ALBUM (*MP3 MODE ONL Y) - REPEAT ALL - OFF - Listening to your tracks (files) randomly (On Remote Control Only) 1. Press RANDOM button to play tracks in a random order. A-B function (On Remote Control Only) During CD/MP3 DISC playback, you can press A-B button on remote to start from the point A (time point you pressed), and ended point B when you press A-B button again and music will play repeatedly from A to B. Intro function (On Remote Control Only ) This feature allows you to play the 10 first seconds of each track on the disk. Load the disc and wait until the display shows the total playing time and number of tracks. Press INTRO button on remote control to activate the function, press again to cancel the function. PROGRAM Creating your own playlist You can play up to 20 tracks on a CD in order. 1. Insert a CD and wait for to be read 2. Press PROG button on the remote control in STOP status. 3. Press / on the unit or on the remote control to select the track you want to program. Press PLAY button on remote or on front panel of the unit to confirm your selection. 4. Press on the unit or on the remote control to play the programmed music files. About MP3 MP3 Disc compatibility with this unit is limited as follows Sampling Frequency: 32-48 (MP3) Bit rate: 32-320kbps (MP3) Do not use special letters such as / :*?< > etc Even if the total number of files on the disc has more than 1000, it will only be shown up to 999.

TUNER OPERATION 1. Press SOURCE button on remote control to select TUNER MODE. 2. Tune to the desired radio station by using / CH+ , / CH-, / FF, / FF+ for manual tuning. 3. For AUTO TUNING, press button on the unit or SEARCH button on remote control to enter in automatic searching radio station mode. For a best FM reception • Make sure that you have fully extended the FM antenna wire. Preset Radio Stations: You can store up to 40 of your favorite stations in the tuner memory for easy recall at any time. 1) Press SOURCE button on remote to select TUNER, and press GOTO button, the VFD will display “_ _ _: _ _” digital input mode, please input FM frequency of the radio station that what you want to listen. For example: 106.20, after input station frequency by using the number buttons, press PLAY button to confirm. 2) Once the desired radio station is tuned, press MEMORY button on remote control, VFD will display “ CH_ _” ; input the preset number you want to store the radio station. How to recall presets radio stations Press GOTO button on remote control, VFD will display “ CH_ _”, and press the preset number of the radio station to recall it. For example, press 1 to play the radio station you preset in position 1. If the preset number is above 10, press ‘+10 ’ button on remote control and number key to input second digit preset number. The unit can be used to play the music from many types of external device 1. Connect by using a 3.5mm Male-to-Male Stereo cable the external device to the LINE IN connector/jack of the unit. >If your TV has only one output for audio (MONO). Connect it to the left (white) audio jack on the unit. 2. Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the LINE IN MODE. 3. Start playback on the external audio device. Adjust the volume on the audio device (do not set the volume to a high level in order to avoid distortion). You may also adjust the volume on the appliance. To control playback function, use the controls on the external audio device. USB OPERATION You can enjoy media files saved on an USB device by connecting the USB device to the USB port of the unit. 1. Connect the USB device to the USB port of the unit. 2. Select the USB MODE by pressing CD/USB on your remote control 3. Select a file you want to play using /CH+, /CH-,/FF, / FF+ directly thanks to number keys. 4. Press on remote control or on the unit to start the playback. 5. Turn the VOLUME knob or press VOL+ / VOL-to increase or decrease volume level. 6. Press stop button on unit or on remote control to stop USB playback. 7. Before disconnecting the USB device, change the source by pressing SOURCE button.

Compatible USB Device: Mp3 player: Flash type Mp3 player. USB Flash Drive: Devices that support USB2.0 or USB 1.1. The USB function may not be available depending on device. Device which require additional program installation when you have connected it to a computer, are not supported. Do not unplug the USB device while in operation. For a large USB capacity, it may take longer than a few minute to be searched. To prevent data loss, back up all data. If you use a USB extension cable or USB hub, the USB device is not recognized. Using NTFS file system is not supported. (Only FAT (16/32) file system is supported) This unit is not supported when the total number of files is 1000 or more. External HDD, locked devices or hard type USB devices are not supported. PROGRAM MODE The operation of PROGRAM MODE are as the same as that of CD / MP3. Please refer to CD / MP3 OPERATION section paragraphe PROGRAM.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION Note: Prior to use Bluetooth function, your micro system should be paired firstly with your Bluetooth device. (“Pairing” means establish connection between Bluetooth devices such as MOBILE PHONE, TABLETS, PC, ETC.) 1. Press the “SOURCE ” button to switch into the BLUETOOTH MODE , “BT” displays on the VFD. 2. In Bluetooth mode, the blue status indicator flashes three times, then 2 beep sounds, the status indicator goes

RED & flashes, The micro system enters automatically searches for Bluetooth device. 3. Turn on Bluetooth functionality on your device and make it discoverable (see your device’s instructions to add or

setup a Bluetooth device). 4. Search for Bluetooth equipment “ CDM100 ” is your micro system identification. Red status indicator switches to

blue lighting which means that devices are successfully paired. (During the paring, if the Bluetooth Version is below 3.0, you need to input code “0000”) Your Bluetooth device stores the micro system unique identification at the same time.

NOTE: The effective range of Bluetooth devices is 10 meters. Once paired, your device should connect to the CDM100 whenever within the Bluetooth range (10 meters). NFC Function Using NFC (Near Field Communication), you can transfer your music from your phone to your Bluetooth device including NFC feature. The maximum reading distance is about 1 cm, which prevents unauthorized communications. Connection procedure

Für USB Betrieb bitte CD Betrieb wählen und die CD/USB Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um in USB Betrieb zu schalten. MUTE Taste (Nur auf der Fernbedienung) 1. Drücken Sie die MUTE Taste auf der Fernbedienung, wenn Sie den Ton vorübergehend unterbrechen möchten, z.B. um einen Telefonanruf zu beantworten. Erneut die MUTE Taste drücken, um den Ton wieder einzuschalten. 2. Die MUTE Funktion wird auch durch drücken der Lautstärketasten + bzw. - automatisch ausgeschaltet.

LOUDNESS Wenn die Bässe zu schwach wiedergegeben werden, drücken Sie die LOUDNESS Taste, um den Basspegel zu erhöhen. CD / MP3 BETRIEB Die Anlage spielt Audio CD und MP3, sowie CD –R Disks ab. Bitte versuchen Sie nicht, CD-ROM, CD -I, VCD oder DVD abzuspielen. 1. Drücken sie die OPEN/ CLOSE Taste auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung, um die CD Lade zu öffnen. 2. Legen Sie die CD mit der bedruckten Seite nach oben ein und schließen Sie sanft die Lade, indem Sie erneut die OPEN/ CLOSE Taste drücken. 3. Mit Hilfe der SOURCE Taste den CD Betrieb wählen. 4. Die PLAY Taste drücken, um die CD abzuspielen. Bei AUDIO CDs startet das Gerät automatisch. 5. Die STOPP Taste auf dem Gerät oder der Fernbedienung drücken, um den Abspielvorgang zu stoppen. Suchlauf innerhalb einer CD (Nur auf der Fernbedienung). Während des Abspielens die Taste / auf der Fernbedienung gedrückt halten, um eine bestimmte Stelle im Titel zu suchen und loslassen, sobald Sie die Stelle gefunden haben. Reset CAPTADOR DEL MANDO A DISTANNCIA IR - No poner obstáculos entre el mando a distancia y el captador. - El mando a distancia corre el riesgo de no funcionar correctamente si es utilizado al lado de otros equipos que funcionan con mando a distancia también. AJUSTES Y FUNCIONES DE BASE Standby Para encender la micro cadena, apriete la tecla 01 del equipo o bien la 1 del mando a distancia. Apriete de nuevo para apagar el equipo. BOTON FUENTE Apriete varias veces sobre SOURCE (9) para conmutar entre CD/TUNER/LINE IN /BT. Para seleccionar el modo USB, seleccione CD MODE y apriete la tecla CD/USB del mando a distancia para conmutar en modo USB. Tecla MUTE (Únicamente en el mando a distancia) 1. Apriete la tecla MUTE del mando a distancia para cortar temporalmente el sonido por ejemplo, para responder al teléfono. Apriete de nuevo para volver al sonido. 2. El sonido, vuelve de nuevo, si aprieta la tecla VOLUME + o -. VOLUMEN Gire el botón VOLUME en el frontal o apriete las teclas VOL +/ VOL – del mando a distancia para ajustar el nivel de volumen.

LOUDNESS Apriete en LOUDNESS para reforzar los graves. FUNCION Apriete repetidamente la tecla FUNCTION para ajustar el VOLUME, BASS y TREBLE a su gusto. Apriete la tecla FONCTION una vez para ajustar el volumen, dos veces para ajustar los graves y tres veces para ajustar los agudos. FUNCIONAMIENTO CD / MP3 El equipo lee los CD Audio y MP3, CD -R. No intente que lea los CD-ROM, CD -I, VCD o DVD. 1. Abra el compartimento CD apretando en el botón OPEN/ CLOSE del equipo o del mando a distancia. 2. Inserte un CD con el lado imprimido en la parte alta y cierre apretando de nuevo la tecla OPEN/ CLOSE. 3. Apriete la tecla SOURCE para seleccionar el modo CD. 4. Apriete en para comenzar la lectura. En el caso de un CD de audio, la lectura comienza automáticamente. 5. Apriete la tecla de parada �del mando a distancia o del aparato para parar la lectura. Búsqueda de un pasaje en un CD (únicamente con el mando a distancia) Durante la lectura mantenga la tecla/ apretada para encontrar un pasaje específico dentro del título. Suelte la tecla cuándo la haya encontrado. Selección de otro título o fichero Apriete en o en el mando a distancia para seleccionar un título. Repetición de un título (fichero) (únicamente con el mando) 1. Apriete sobre la tecla REPETITION para activa resta función, en el siguiente orden: REPETIR 1 -REPETIR ALBUM (*Solo en modo MP3) – REPETIR TODO - OFF - Lectura aleatoria de los títulos (ficheros (únicamente con el mando a distancia) 1. Apriete en la tecla RANDOM para escuchar los títulos en orden aleatorio Función A-B (únicamente en el mando a distancia) Durante la lectura de CD/MP3, puede apretar la tecla A-B del mando a distancia para comenzar la lectura de un punto A y terminar en un punto B (Cuándo apriete una segunda vez la tecla). Cuándo reapriete en las teclas A-B, la lectura será entre estos dos puntos. Intro (únicamente en el mando a distancia) Esta función le permite escuchar los 10 primeros segundos de cada título del disco. Cargue el disco y espere hasta que el display muestre el tiempo total de lectura y el número de títulos. Apriete la tecla INTRO del mando a distancia para activa resta función. Apriete de nuevo, para anular esta función. PROGRAMA Cree su propio playlist Puede programar hasta 20 títulos en un CD. 1. Inserte un CD y espere al inicio de la lectura. 2. Apriete en la tecla de paro y después en PROG del mando del mando a distancia. 3. Apriete en / del equipo o del mando a distancia, para seleccionar el título que desea programar. Apriete en la tecla de lectura del mando o del equipo para confirmar la selección. 4. Apriete en del equipo o del mando para escuchar su programación. A propósito de MP3 La compatibilidad para discos MP3 es la siguiente: Frecuencia de muestreo: 32-48 (MP3) Bit rate: 32-320kbps (MP3) No utilizar caracteres especiales, tales como / :*?< > etc. Si el número total de títulos en el disco, supera los 1000, el display mostrará un límite de 999.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL SINTONIZADOR 1. Apriete en la tecla SOURCE en el mando a distancia, para seleccionar el modo TUNER. 2. Encuentre la emisora d radio deseada mediante las teclas / CH+ , / CH-, / FF, / FF+ para efectuar una búsqueda manual. 3. Para la sintonización automática apriete en en el equipo o SEARCH en el mando a distancia para entrar en modo de búsqueda automática de emisoras. Para la mejor recepción FM • Verifique que haya estirado la antena de cable al máximo. Memorización de emisoras de radio: Puede memorizar hasta 40 emisoras a las cuales podrá acceder en todo momento. 1) Apriete en la tecla SOURCE del mando a distancia para seleccionar el modo TUNER, y apriete en la tecla GOTO (ir a), el display indicará el modo digital deseado “_ _ _: _ _”. Seleccione la frecuencia FM de la emisora que desea escuchar. Apriete la tecla en el equipo o el mando, para parar la lectura. 7. Antes de desenchufar el USB, cambie la fuente apretando en la tecla SOURCE. Material USB compatible: Mp3 player: Flash type Mp3 player. USB Flash Drive: Dispositivos que soporten USB2.0 o USB 1.1.Según los aparatos, la función USB puede que no esté disponible. Los dispositivos que necesitan la instalación de un programa suplementario cuándo son conectados a un ordenador, no non soportados por el equipo. No desenchufe el USB durante su funcionamiento. Cuándo la capacidad es elevada, la búsqueda puede durar varios minutos. Para evitar perdida de datos, haga una copia de todos sus datos. Si utiliza unos alargadores USB o bien un hub, el USB no será reconocido. El sistema de ficheros NTFS no es compatible, únicamente el sistema de ficheros FAT (16/32) es soportado. Los discos duros externos, equipos protegidos, no son soportados.

PROGRAMACION La programación, se hace de la misma manera que para el CD/MP3. Refiérase al capítulo CD / MP3. FUNCIONAMIENTO BLUETOOTH Nota: antes de utilizar la función Bluetooth, debe emparejar su dispositivo Bluetooth con el equipo. 1. Apriete en la tecla “SOURCE” para conmutar a modo BLUETOOTH, “BT” se muestra. 2. En modo Bluetooth, el indicador Azul parpadea 3 veces, entonces ha de esperar 2 bips, el indicador de estado parpadeará en Rojo y se pone en modo de búsqueda Bluetooth. 3. Active la función Bluetooth de su dispositivo y comience la búsqueda. 4. Busque el equipo Bluetooth “ CDM100 ” o « CDM101 » . El indicador Rojo, se vuelve Azul, esto significa que los dos equipos están sincronizados. Durante la sincronización, si la versión Bluetooth es inferior a 3.0, debe de entrar el código 0000. NOTA: El alcance de los equipos Bluetooth es de unos 10m. Una vez sincronizado, sus equipos se conectaran cada vez que se encuentren a menos de 10 Metros.
