Success is in your hands
6 years ago we enjoyed the 28th World Sporting Championship in the USA at Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake: This was a great event gathering 600 shooters. In 2012, we are very proud and happy to have the 34th World Sporting championship organized at the Northbrook Sports Club in Illinois, where more than 1200 participants are expected. Let me express my satisfaction with the success met by the sporting discipline around the world in general and in the USA especially.
I am sure that the whole team of the NSC club, President, Mr. John Estep, it’s Vice President, Mr Brett Seibert, and Mr Joe Cantey, F.I.T.A.S.C. Vice-President for America, whose great experience played an important part, will summon all their knowledge and know-how, to make this event an unforgettable one for all participants, not only in view of sports organisation but also on a social level.
My best wishes go to all competitors in this World Championship. I am sure that you’re going to have a nice journey, success at the shoot and enjoyable days in the Chicago area! Jean-François PALINKAS FITASC President

On behalf of the USA, Fitasc, National Sporting Clays Association and Northbrook Sports Club I would like to extend a warm welcome to all competitors and their guest for the 34th World Fitasc Sporting Championship.
I would personally like to thank Northbrook and its entire staff for all of the hard work and dedication it has put into this event. We all know that it is an enormous undertaking and I am positive that Northbrook has gone above and beyond the preparation that is necessary for a great competition.
If there is anything that we can do to make your trip more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to ask either myself or the staff at Northbrook and we will do whatever is possible to accommodate. We wish all of you a safe, fair and challenging competi-tion over the four days and I am confident that this will be one of the most memorable World championships ever held.
Regards, Joe Cantey Vice President for America
On behalf of the NSCA I would like to welcome you and your family to the 2012 World F.I.T.A.S.C. Championship at Northbrook Sports Club. The World F.I.T.A.S.C. represents the pinnacle of Parcours de Chasse competition worldwide so what better city to share this with than Chicago. Chicago is recognized across the United States as a very passionate sports town. Chicago is the third largest city in the United States, with a population of nearly three million people. Chicago is the home of many of the world’s largest, world’s tallest, world’s highest, world’s busiest and many of the world’s firsts. So as you make your travel plans I would highly recommend spending an extra day visiting the beautiful sites of Chicago. Best of luck to all com-petitors during this week long extravaganza!
Sincerely, Robert Crow NSCA Director
Illinois SportingClays Association

ISCA
Dear Competitor, On behalf of the Illinois Sporting Clays Association I want to welcome you to the 2012 World FITASC Sporting Championship. Our association has grown in the past 14 years to over 800 members, 9 clubs and throwing over 3/4 million registered targets a year. Our ISCA clubs are the finest in the country from the World Shooting & Recreational Complex in southern Illinois hosting the Grand American, and North-brook Sports Club hosting a World FITASC event. I thank you all, local shooters and International Shooters, who continue to support this event and our sport. As you visit this beautiful vacation area, please take advantage of the many activities it offers. I hope your week is enjoyable and rewarding. Tom Sweeney, Jr.President ISCA
Dear Competitors,
On behalf of the members and staff of the Northbrook Sports Club, welcome. We hope you find your experience here with us to be a pleasurable one. Our staff, sponsors and countless volunteers have worked hard to provide you an enjoyable week of competition. Targets will be presented over our beautiful 600 acres of farmland, marsh, rolling hills and woodlands.Chicago and the surrounding communties provide many opportunities beyond the shooting event to enjoy. As in the legend, Mrs. O’leary’s cow provided a tabula rasa on which the Chicago school of arciticture was born. An architectural tour of the city should not be missed. The many museums, the aquarium, jazz clubs, great restaurants and perhaps a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan all await you, your family and friends. In closing, it is an honor to be the host of the 2012 World F.I.T.A.S.C. Championship. We wish each competitor the best, and above all a memorable experience.
Best Regards,
John EstepPresident, Northbrook Sports Club

There’s a good reason why the K-80 is a shot-
gun legend. It’s a combination of everything
that makes that crucial difference in com-
petitive shooting: The raised and adjustable

The new Browning Citori 725 is an all
new over and under designed to make you
“one with the gun.” The low profile receiver
brings the 725 into your body for improved
pointability, balance, recoil control and
second shot accuracy. A new mechanical
trigger provides a smooth, crisp break and
immediate second shot capability. Perhaps
best of all, the 725 does all this with
a full-width hinge pin and transverse
mounted locking bolt construction for
durability that wears in, not out. Strength,
speed and handling — the new Citori 725
is the total performance package.
