Storyline• My film would be about a teenage boy that feels the whole world is against him

as he constantly battles against bad luck. The intro would feature his walk to school and the bad luck he experiences. Examples of this are: walking under a step ladder, breaking a mirror, the number 13, and a car driving through a puddle and soaking him. Most of the bad luck signs would be made obvious to the audience so that they can expect what is going to happen to him, but occasional bad luck would randomly happen to him and we would demonstrate why it happened afterwards. This contributes to the whole world against him theme as he cannot escape his bad luck which is relatable as everyone has days like this.• The middle of the film would continue to follow his life and possibly follow his

time at school as he will be bullied and he may start to feel depressed. However, he will overcome this feeling somehow. This would link to the end of the film where he begins to look on the bright side of life maybe by making more friends or through love I'm honestly not that sure.

Setting and Music• Let the main character introduce themselves – name, age and a funny tag line

that will probably be repeated at some later point in the film. The film will be set in Bridgwater and I was thinking outside of Haygrove School. Also as the film progresses it would enter a school situation and also in a house as the main character tries to hide his problems from his family. • As for music I would associate with the type of film I would like to make, I was

thinking of:• Why does it always rain on me by Travis, • Blame it one me by George Ezra • Lonely Boy by the Black Keys.

• However, for the 2 minute intro I know I have to create my own music.

Inspirations, comedy plan and idea for titles• I also took inspiration from the film Diary of a wimpy kid but also the music video

• I think that the best way of making this film funny is making the main character relatable and that people will find humour out of the misfortune of the main character. • Title ideas – Life for dummies and 101 ways to fail your life
