F R E S H I N F L O R A L SSuspended petals in clear soap make a gorgeously serene statement. Start by filling a rectangular mold until half full, place in greens or florals, and let dry slightly. Then fill mold to the top.

and shea butter offer loads of moisturizing properties.

We used an embossing mold for this shape,

but we kept the look simple by skipping

the stamp.

Z E S T O F L U C KWhen you add lime and sea salt, homemade soap packs a tangy—and exfoliating—punch. We poured olive oil soap into molds in small increments, sprinkling chunks of salt between each layer. And we finished with a thick layer of zest!

S T E P 1 : Break soap into small pieces, and melt according to manufacturer’s instructions.

S T E P 2 : Add desired amount of fragrance or essential oil into soap batter.

S T E P 3 : Place embossing stamp face-up in soap mold, and pour in soap batter as shown.

S T E P 4 : Sprinkle inclusions (we used lavender) into soap before it dries completely.

S T E P 5 : Use craft knife to trim edges, and enjoy a slice of homemade-soap bliss.
