Welcome To Faith! ACTIVITIES 1. Prayer Meetings House Of Prayer Wed, 5 & 19 Feb, 7.30pm, Prayer Chapel (L1) House Of Healing Wed, 12 Feb, 7.30pm, Charis Hall (L4) Are you in need of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing? Isaiah 53:5 states that “by His stripes we are healed", describing Jesus having taken all our sicknesses upon Himself on the Cross. Visit our House Of Healing sessions where others have experienced physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and experience God's healing power in your life! Participants who require longer-term ministry after House Of Healing sessions can be referred for follow-up. 2. Ash Wednesday Bilingual Service Wed, 26 Feb, 8-9.30pm, Sanctuary (L1) Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a time of penitence and renewal 40 days leading to Resurrection Sunday. Lent is a season of preparation during which we anticipate and grasp the deep significance of the death (Good Friday) and resurrection (Resurrection Sunday) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This year's Ash Wednesday service is combined with Queenstown Chinese Methodist Church. They have invited Rev Marjorie J. Thompson, a Presbyterian Minister and well-sought after speaker on Christian spirituality, who will be sharing the Word in English with Mandarin translation.

One Mission Small Group Conference Sat & Sun, 11 & 12 Jul, Faith Methodist Church Session Timings Sat 11 Jul: 8.30am—5.30pm Sun 12 Jul: 8.30am—10.30am (54th Anniversary Service) In celebration of our 54th Anniversary, let us all join our hearts, heads, and hands, and embark together to rediscover and embrace that One Mission as Christ’s disciples, as Small Groups, and as a Faith church family in fulfilling His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)! Let us continue partnering God as He accomplishes His work through each of us, His Church, to those He has placed among us, just around the corner, along the street, and across to the regions beyond. Attend this Conference as part of our Faith church family, whether or not you are in a Small Group. Mark your calendar and we'll see you there!

4. Floral Arrangement Course Fridays, 6, 13, 20, 27 Mar (4 sessions), 7.30-9.30pm, Agape Room (L4) This course is taught by Alan Lee, a certified trainer by the American Institute for Floral Designers and Sogetsu School of Ikebana. Participants will get to bring home their flower arrangements after each lesson and will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Please note that upon successful completion of the course, you will be required to serve with our floral ministry once a month for at least one year. Grab a signup form at the Info Counter today! For enquiries, please email [email protected]. 5. Journey To The Cross 2020—Be A Volunteer! Journey To The Cross is a Holy Week event for Faith worshippers and your pre-believing friends and family, where participants will be taken through an experiential reenactment of Jesus' journey to the Cross. It will be held from 6—8 April, 4.30pm—9.30pm with hour-long slots at 15min intervals. Participants will be able to reflect on Jesus' final hours in His earthly mission, and be encouraged to take their own journey to their cross. We're currently recruiting volunteers to serve during this unique, engaging, and meaningful event! Do prayerfully consider giving of your time to be a blessing to our church family and pre-believers in the following roles: i) Ushers (training provided) ii) Registration iii) Logistics (5 & 9 April) A volunteer briefing will be given on Sunday, 15 March at 2pm. 6. First Local Conference 2020 Tue, 4 Feb, 7.45pm, Charis Hall (L4) Members of the Local Conference: Please be informed of our First Local Conference 2020 scheduled for this Tuesday, 4 February. The monthly LCEC Meeting will follow thereafter.

7. Baptism & Membership—Register By 16 February!
If God has prompted you to obey Him in believer’s baptism and/or membership of Faith, or you want your infant/child to be baptized, now is your chance to respond to Him! Please note the following details and mark your calendar:
A) Membership Class: Adults (Ages 26 & Older) When: 14, 21 & 28 Mar, 2pm—5pm (Saturdays, all sessions compulsory) Eligibility: Baptised Christian and a member of a Small Group at Faith for at least 6 months
B) Baptism & Membership Class: Youth & Young Adults (Ages 16—25) When: 8 & 15 Mar, 2pm—5pm (Sundays, both sessions compulsory) Eligibility: A member of a Small Group at Faith for at least 6 months
C) Baptism Only: Adults (Ages 26 & Older) Candidates will be required to complete a group session with a Pastor (14 March, 2pm—5pm) and a dialogue session with a Pastoral Team Member (to be scheduled separately). No class required unless also signing up for Membership (see A or B).
D) Baptism: Infant/Child (Aged Below 16) At least one of the candidate’s parents must be a member of Faith Methodist Church. Both parents required to attend the compulsory Parent’s Briefing (22 March, 1.30pm).
E) Baptism & Membership Reception Service Sat, 4 Apr, 1pm—5pm, Sanctuary (L1)
Registration for categories A, B & C only: $30 (working adults); $10 (non-working adults, students, retirees). There will be NO double cost if signing up for both baptism and membership.

8. Lunch Alpha—Lunch Provided! Wednesdays, 26 Feb onwards (11 sessions), 11.45am-12.45pm, Faith Methodist Church Invite your friends and colleagues who work near our church for Lunch Alpha, conducted by Faith's very own staff team! Lunch Alpha covers the same content as the regular Alpha course, during weekly one-hour sessions over lunch. Visit faithmc.sg/lunchalpha for the e-invite, or pick up a hardcopy invite from the Info Counter to share this opportunity, and bless the office workers near our church, or whoever would like to explore Christianity during their lunch break! Small Group Leaders & Champions Training (SGLCT) 2020 Sat, 29 Feb & 7 Mar, 9.30am-4pm, Doulos Room (L4) SGLCT 2020 is a two-day training for Team Leaders, Group Leaders, Apprentice Leaders and F.A.I.T.H. Champions, and is also open to Small Group members. It will cover the philosophy and practices of how Small Groups are done at Faith in the areas of F.A.I.T.H. (Fellowship, Adoration, Involvement, Transformation, and Harvest). Specific topics will include serving God and others, praying, leading and facilitating Bible studies, group outreach and evangelism, and SG administration. Current leaders who attended previous sessions are encouraged to join as a refresher, as well as members who would like to learn more before serving in your SG. Register via your SGL by 16 February!

12. TRAC Seniors Ministry Worship Service Wed, 5 Feb, 2.30pm, Worship Hall (L4)
The TRAC Seniors Ministry Worship Service is a monthly weekday worship service for the senior congregations of TRAC churches.
This weekday service is meant to complement regular Sunday services as another opportunity to worship the Lord, to invite pre-believing friends to church, and to fellowship with likeminded people in God’s family. All seniors are invited to the upcoming service on 5 February!

It also explores the biblical and theological foundation of stewardship, spiritual gifts, as well as serving in ministry in our church, community and the regions beyond. Today’s Second Offering: Methodist Welfare Services Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) was founded in 1981 and is registered under the Charities Act as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC). It currently runs 19 centres and outreach programmes which operate critical services to support low-income and/or distressed families, children and youths from low-income families, youths at risk, as well as destitute and sick elderly. Special Collection For Full-Time Ministry Workers A special collection will be received next Sunday, 9 February as a Chinese New Year gift to our full-time ministry workers (Pastors; Faith, FaithActs, and Faith Kindergarten Staff; and Local & Overseas Mission Workers). 3. No Fellowship Meals Today Please be informed that there will be no Fellowship Meals in February this year. This applies to today, 2 February. Fellowship Meals will resume on 1 March. 4. Extension Of ACJC Renovation Works The air-conditioning renovation works at the ACJC CPA have been extended. Our 10.30am Praise@AC Contemporary Service and 10.30am SUN JAM children's programme will resume from 1 March onwards. SMALL GROUP (SG) ALPHA
i) Small Group Alpha—Talk To Your Small Group Today!
Faith's Small Group (SG) Alpha programme officially begins in 2020! SG Alpha involves self-conducting the Alpha course during your Small Group meetings. It is a
great opportunity for your Small Group to invite your pre-believing friends, and explore questions about life and Christianity in a safe and intimate setting.
Trainings and Alpha resources will be provided.
Different Small Groups can also come together to conduct SG Alpha. This can be during your regular SG meetings or additional organised sessions, either at home
or in church. An official joint SG Alpha run called Alpha Together is also being organized (see part ii).
