It was quite interesting to see now, after so long, pieces of memory that I’ve almost forgotten about. In school I was not a performer, not really fancying the whole concept of grades and total uniformity between class mates. My primary school teacher was an old-fashioned one, going with the traditional ways, but when I got to middle school I met my English and Math teachers, from whom I learned a lot – from my Math teacher I learned what responsibility for your own actions means and I got to understand how everything you do affects you in a positive or negative way and that we are the own creators of our future. I have been attracted to the English language since I can’t remember, so, when it came for me to make a choice about my future high school, I was very decided about what I wanted – and I got there: at the National College Mihai Eminescu Iasi, at the humanistic profile for bilingual/English. Also interested in extracurricular activities, during high school I got the chance to explore my hobbies – internationalism, theatre, journalism and personal development. So, each year I got to act in plays in at the bilingual ball organized at our high school, in the last year managing to get 1 st at the “Hai la teatru!” festival together with my group; I managed to visit Norway and The Netherlands through the Comenius projects and participated at two editions of the English summer schools organized by M.A.T.E, getting the chance to host a Swedish girl studying at St Andrews University and a Scottish girl, thus fulfilling my passion for internationalism. As in what concerns journalism, for two years I participated at the National Journalism Camp organized by my Romanian teacher. Not to forget, with my wish for personal development I discovered AIESEC, through a projected called AIESEC Teenz, organized as a mini-organisation in high schools. Ending my high school experience with a CAE and an IELTS diplomas in English, it was time for next step. So, when the time came to make a choice about a University, I also applied in UK and I got in, at Sheffield University. Still, it seems that I wasn’t feeling ready at the time for such a big change, so I remained in Iasi, where I followed the courses from the Faculty of Psychology. All for the best, as here I joined AIESEC and for the past over 3 years, I lived some of the most amazing experiences of my life. Still in Iasi, where I have lived all my life, I am ready now to see where the future is going to take me

BIOS Since when I was little, I was attracted to leadership. And I say this now when, while cleaning my

drawers, I came across a set of regulations we should have implemented in the group I was coordinating

(I can tell from the signature that I was probably towards the end of primary school or beginning of

middle school). It was quite interesting to see now, after so long, pieces of memory that I’ve almost

forgotten about.

In school I was not a performer, not really fancying the whole concept of grades and total uniformity

between class mates. My primary school teacher was an old-fashioned one, going with the traditional

ways, but when I got to middle school I met my English and Math teachers, from whom I learned a lot –

from my Math teacher I learned what responsibility for your own actions means and I got to understand

how everything you do affects you in a positive or negative way and that we are the own creators of our

future. From my English teacher l found out what learning by doing means, when I observed that,

although we were playing most of the classes, those games made the information sink in so much

better.

I have been attracted to the English language since I can’t remember, so, when it came for me to make a

choice about my future high school, I was very decided about what I wanted – and I got there: at the

National College Mihai Eminescu Iasi, at the humanistic profile for bilingual/English. Also interested in

extracurricular activities, during high school I got the chance to explore my hobbies – internationalism,

theatre, journalism and personal development. So, each year I got to act in plays in at the bilingual ball

organized at our high school, in the last year managing to get 1st at the “Hai la teatru!” festival together

with my group; I managed to visit Norway and The Netherlands through the Comenius projects and

participated at two editions of the English summer schools organized by M.A.T.E, getting the chance to

host a Swedish girl studying at St Andrews University and a Scottish girl, thus fulfilling my passion for

internationalism. As in what concerns journalism, for two years I participated at the National Journalism

Camp organized by my Romanian teacher. Not to forget, with my wish for personal development I

discovered AIESEC, through a projected called AIESEC Teenz, organized as a mini-organisation in high

schools.

Ending my high school experience with a CAE and an IELTS diplomas in English, it was time for next step.

So, when the time came to make a choice about a University, I also applied in UK and I got in, at

Sheffield University. Still, it seems that I wasn’t feeling ready at the time for such a big change, so I

remained in Iasi, where I followed the courses from the Faculty of Psychology. All for the best, as here I

joined AIESEC and for the past over 3 years, I lived some of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Still in Iasi, where I have lived all my life, I am ready now to see where the future is going to take me
