45% of people do not watch soap operas in the

evening. Therefore I have to ensure that I make my

soap very interesting and different in order to pull

these people and convince them. So giving them a

reason to watch my soap in the evening.

The highest percentage of people tune in every

episode which is good because most people will

tune in for my soap. But again, I still need to

have a differentiation to ensure that people tune

in every episode.

From this, I know that I need great characters in my

soap as this is what was ranked first and most

important out of the five, secondly I need to consider

the soap actors, so good ones that people know and

love so they can build personal relationship(Katz) and

thirdly top notch quality which will keep people

interesting.

50% of people are interested in soap that emphasises on the real

world, so the things that are happening. This helps me to know what

my storylines will be based around especially the fact my soap will be

multi stranded storyline

Many people prefer to watch a soap on Mondays

Wednesdays and Fridays. This is good because

these were the days I was considering to use for my

soap. So it will shown every after another day.

Most people do not buy TV listings magazine

so this shows me that in order for me to get

people to buy the magazines to look up my

soap story lines, I need to ensure that my

soap is very interesting and outstanding.

Many people love Hollyoaks and

Eastenders which mean that I would

repeat some certain things from these

soaps

At the side, are the list of

things people suggest for me

to include in my soap. So I will

put most of them into

consideration.
