Dear New Alpha Battery Gator Family,

Aloha and welcome to Schofield Barracks Hawaii! As the leadership of the Family Readiness Group

(FRG), we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alpha Battery, the best Battery in 2-11

Field Artillery. We hope you are settling in and finding your way around the area.

Schofield Barracks offers families many services, including the Library, Arts and Crafts center, Computer

Lab, pool and much more. To help you find out about these services, we have put together an

informational sheet, attached to this letter.

So that you know, the FRG has monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. The location

varies slightly between two locations and it is generally held at 4:00pm. We would love to see you at

our next meeting! The FRG puts out great information including our husband’s upcoming training

events and ranges as well as our next meetings and fundraisers. It’s also a great way to meet some new

ladies. We are always looking for volunteers, so if you would like to help us out, please feel free to call

Lastly, we just want to say that we are happy you are here and joining our Gator ‘Ohana. Welcome to

Hawaii!
