I have always had the dream to develop a high standard, value oriented quality education centrewhere everyone may get equal opportunity to get educated in a real sense. The Library is the heart of any educational institution. Keeping this in view, VOU has a large number of booksand fully computerized multi-media libraries for its schools. The University Act states that Distance Education Council means Distance Education Council of the Universityand its Headquarter at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and it may establish, Colleges, Regional Centres andStudy Centres in India & abroad.The Distance Education Council shall be Principal Academic Body of the University to determine the course,procedures for the admission, etc. The A ct empowers the University to regulate the Distance EducationCentres, admission centres and all possible governance of the Distance Education Programmes offered bythe University.
