We played games in order to identify our local marine fauna and flora.
We listed the species of our local marine fauna according to the depth they live and we presented them in a model.

We invited Mr. Pathiakis who dives in the area and he informed us about the most common fish we can find in our sea.
We are in the process of making a photo album containing photos of the cretan sea.
We made an on line research in order to gather information about the salinity of seawater. We listed the saltiest seas on the planet and we marked them on the map.We measured the salt, we calculated the salinity percent and we compared the results to the average salinity of the Mediterranean and other seas.
We made an on line research and we listed the causes of marine pollution. We are in the process of creating our own marine-pollution-spider-web.
We visited the Port Authority and we were informed about marine pollution in our area.
We conducted an experiment on how to dissolve an oil spill.
We visited the Town Hall and we were informed about the actions of the municipality in order to protect the natural environment of the coast.

We attended a presentation about the evolution of the greek ships from ancient times until today.We also saw how a ship is built.
We reenact marine murals originally found in ancient Thira (Santorini) and in the minoan palace of Knossos.
